miffy495 Posted March 27, 2008 I wouldn't be so angry with it if it hadn't had so much potential, yeah.
Scrobbs Posted March 27, 2008 Agreed. It is a great game, but really, really, REALLY needs to take a leaf out of Lucasarts' book in not killing the player. The aforementioned wall of death is remarkably...well...deathlike. And frustrating.

Wrestlevania Posted April 3, 2008 The Frank Miller effect is superb.
LOPcagney Posted April 4, 2008 The Frank Miller effect is superb. Yup. That made me laugh. All in all, pretty good review, but its not all that groundbreaking to bash Army of Two. It's been getting some very negative press already.
Roderick Posted April 4, 2008 Yeah, he totally should have loved Army of Two, just to be original.
Ben X Posted April 4, 2008 That was the best one I've seen for a long time - fast, funny, packed tight and visually exciting.
BooJaka Posted April 7, 2008 Just getting back to the Zack & Wiki thing (which seems to be spelt different in every region, anyone else notice that?), yeah it gets pretty frustrating but all the levels in the castle are incredible. I'd say it's well worth some of the more annoying bits before it
DanJW Posted April 24, 2008 Super Smash Bros Brawl.
DanJW Posted April 24, 2008 Ooh, also noticed that I missed Condemned 2 review last week. Another good one. Goddamn Fahrenheit Syndrome.
Wrestlevania Posted April 24, 2008 I notice some clever fuck has taken away the progress bar and play/pause controls from some unknown reason. Now I can't read the closing snark in the credits anymore. Fucking computer.
Nappi Posted April 24, 2008 I notice some clever fuck has taken away the progress bar and play/pause controls from some unknown reason. They are still there, though.
elmuerte Posted May 7, 2008 Mailbag! not a game this time, responses to the SSBB B... erm... previous review anyway, funny (and subjective)
Wrestlevania Posted May 7, 2008 I approve, though it is somewhat more self-indulgent than usual.
Coldkill Posted May 7, 2008 That was quite funny heh.
DanJW Posted May 14, 2008 That's probably the fairest review of the game on the internet.
Wrestlevania Posted May 15, 2008 I don't agree with him, but he's been reasonable all the same.
elmuerte Posted May 15, 2008 holy crap.. is it just me or did he almost reach mach 1 during this review.
Erkki Posted May 18, 2008 I kind of agree with some of it, but my main complaint about the game is the missions. I'll post it in the GTA thread.
elmuerte Posted May 22, 2008 Painkiller I'm actually interested in that game now.
DanJW Posted May 22, 2008 Wasn't Painkiller chosen as the Three Four Kings recruitment test game? Or something like that. Maybe it was a tournement. Anyway, yes it sounds good in a Serious Sam way. Also, ZP: no more adverts! Yay!
Wrestlevania Posted May 22, 2008 Wasn't Painkiller chosen as the Three Kings recruitment test game? Or something like that. Maybe it was a tournement. Anyway, yes it sounds good in a Serious Sam way. It's great and looks brilliant on even modest hardware. Been meaning to replay it for years--the weapons really are that fun. Also, ZP: no more adverts! Yay! I noticed that too, but thought their player had just crapped out on me again.
DanJW Posted May 23, 2008 Yes. Yes I do mean that. Thankyou.
