mikemariano Posted July 31, 2013 I hate playing Jedi in video games or pen and paper RPGs. Either their force powers are so weak that it just feels dumb, or so powerful that the rest of the mechanics of the game don't really matter. Counterpoint: the Jedi-only double-jump in Lego Star Wars.

Murdoc Posted October 4, 2013 I liked Tiny Towers and I don't have a new enough OS on my phone to play NimbleBits other games, but man, I like this idea. I hope they tune the mechanics so it's more "gamey" as it seems like they have done that to planes and trains.
Roderick Posted October 4, 2013 Hey guys! Remember when Star Wars was a cool thing and not milked to death by endless corporate greed?
I Saw Dasein Posted October 4, 2013 Not really. Star Wars was always commercial, blockbuster, low-brow culture, right from day one.

Lu Posted October 5, 2013 That's Kabe, a female Chadra-Fan. The Chadra-Fan's home planet, Chad, a planet mostly water and patches of marsh; Chad was also home to a human population and it's where Jedi Knight Callista Ming was born. She was noteworthy in that she was part of this Altisian Jedi Order, split off from the Jedi Order, as they held the belief that one should be able to teach multiple apprentices and to allow an Altisian Knight to have a family. PEACE.

Sno Posted October 5, 2013 Dark Forces/Jedi Knight, X-wing/Tie Fighter, Rogue Squadron, etc.Mmmmhmmm, the best.I don't like how more modern Star Wars games keep trying to tie back into the movies so heavily. (Whether it's the original trilogy or the prequels, both are overexposed.)For me at least, part of what made those Star Wars games from the 90's so cool is that they were willing to take you to some far off corner of the Star Wars universe and show you something completely different. It's the Star Wars galaxy, it should be big and full of amazing stories. So sad that Republic Commando never got a sequel. So sad that 1313 got canned.
