K. I think I am done with KINGZJESTERLAND Nature's #1 Wonder. Go check it out guys! Take the grassy path from spawn, or take a boat and follow the path through the IDLE sign etc. I suggest going through the museum first. :yep:

I'll be in Japan during the reset, I have but one request.

Anyone who wants to destroy the 'IDLE' sign must record it's destruction for us all (mostly me) to revel in. Rest assured, when I return I shall rebuild it, better than ever!

There will be plenty of TNT handed out to raze all that stuff to hell, trust me.

If we can schedule something up ahead of time, I can fire up some sort of screen capture thinger and record the destructions from way outside.

Also, the redstone fuse makes the explosion not explode all that satisfyingly. There is no boom and it basically all happens server-side. For best results, punch the TNT and make a "fuse" out of TNT blocks.

Only the person that sets off the TNT will really see the fireworks, that's why redstone triggered TNT doesn't show anything cool

The only thing you see when somebody else sets of TNT is a sudden hole. It's a real shame.

Also, after a given distance you will also no longer notice the explosions.

Just been in to check it out. So much awesome stuff! I listened to my own breathing in the meditation chamber, visited Patter's Island fortress then got stuck at the bottom of a whirl pool. After swimming a long way up to escape I climbed one of Patter's towers and traversed the great glass skyway. After apreciating the ancient wizards idol I dropped in to Kingzjesterland but ran into a bit of trouble when I got stuck in the underground grotto. I fell into a watery hole I couldn't jump out of. As I didn't have digging powers I called it a night.

Wish I had more time to get into this right now. Shame it has to be restarted come Halloween!

Ok, since people are already destroying things, I've made a backup as of a couple of minutes ago. Grab it here. 7zip can open the tar.gz files, if you're having issues with other archive utilities. I dunno if the players folder is even necessary if you're gonna play it locally, but it is all in there.

crap...

accidentally set off the TNT in the moai, it was only halfway filled :(

also, it wasn't much of a blast for me, the game couldn't handle the fireworks so the screen was frozen for half a minute

I had a real "how to make infinite fire" experience :/

hahah! i had no idea there was stuff inside the moai! i like how the tnt blew its ass out and took out part of the thumb in the process

Ok, so I may have turned my area into a smoldering crater. I also may have used fraps to record some of it.

There is a non-zero chance that accidently hitting dynamite, while you are in the middle of construction, will ruin your plans.

Ah, goddamn, sorry Thompson, I meant to merely mine the Idle sign tonight and then record it asploding tomorrow at work, but then it accidentally exploded on me. I am not even sure when. I jumped off the sign into the water to move to another letter and lay more TNT, and when I looked up the thing said "DLE "

I was gonna do it at work because I have a host of screen capturing software there, however I also have one of those magic mice that scroll on a whim, and accidentally change from a stack of TNT to a pick, which is not good while laying explosives. So, tldr, someone else might as well record the demise of the DLE

This was pretty much the story of my adventures with TNT. Get a cool idea, start implementing it, hit the wrong button, and bomb, all gone.

Likewise, was wiring up the gravel pyramids, and had to pause the game. When I clicked on "Return to game", a TNT block was behind it and started flashing. Whoops.

Edit: Oops, also just blew out the floor of my tower while attempting to pack the tree with TNT.

Well, mistakes were made. There was also a weird server bug where it blew up, then everything reappeared (I guess the client played through something it shouldn't have before the server caught up). It was successfully blown up on the 4th attempt or so; video to follow

LOL! Sometimes I play on my track pad when I have a minute and my 3 button mouse is in another room. I thought it was bad when I accidentally placed cobblestone instead of gravel. That sir, quite frankly sucks.

EDIT:

On a side note, I'm still trying to decide whether its a blessing or a curse that this game is up and running in under a second, and just as quick and easy to save and quit. I use a launcher too. COMMAND-SPACE, M, ENTER. I sit down to do bills and 30 minutes later I haven't touched them because I'm laying track.
