TychoCelchuuu Posted January 2, 2013 I've always felt like anyone who knows what a browser history is would know that Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Internet Explorer all have anonymous/no browser history modes for whenever you're doing embarrassing stuff. tegan Posted January 3, 2013 I instinctively use Incognito Mode for browsing porn even though I haven't shared a computer with anyone in something like three years. I also use it for anything that I know will ruin things like autocomplete options and amazon recommendations. Now that Youtube's switched from recommending videos based on the current video to one based on your history, I may have to start doing the same for it. Right now I'm stuck with recommendations based on all the things I leave on as background noise, so my sidebar is full of things like "two hours of rain on a car roof," "girl reading children's book in Japanese," "unboxing Lego Architecture set," and about fifty episodes of the Ricky Gervais Show. shammack Posted January 3, 2013 I instinctively use Incognito Mode for browsing porn even though I haven't shared a computer with anyone in something like three years. It's not a bad idea even if you don't share a computer, just so you don't end up with gross cookies all over the place. Youtube's switched from recommending videos based on the current video to one based on your history I hate this so much.

Luftmensch Posted January 9, 2013 Not exactly comical, but these body paintings reminded me of the style used in The Walking Dead.

tegan Posted January 11, 2013 One of my college instructors knew a guy who got some Chinese text he saw somewhere as a tattoo. He discovered some time later that it meant "made in China."
Nappi Posted January 11, 2013 A long time ago, I had a t-shirt made that was supposed to say "Cheap noodles" in Chinese. I bet it was actually something truly profound.
ThunderPeel2001 Posted January 11, 2013 If you want to learn a bit of Chinese, this is good fun: http://www.memrise.com/course/749/the-guardian-chinese-challenge/ It uses imaging techniques to help you remember stuff. (I can now read a Chinese menu )
