  1. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

    Racist

The hard part with gear is knowing what you'll end up liking after a while of using it. My main suggestions are get a good, snug helmet, and make it full-faced - especially for your first one. The few times I've crashed, that extra protection has saved me.

Honda is about to come out with the CBR300R which would be great. Alternatively, the 250R is going to be out of date in August when the 300 is out, so it'd be cheaper. Ninja 300s are the other option but aren't as comfortable (they feel cramped). I don't remember how they compare price-wise to the Hondas. For the Seattle area, check out Ride Motorsports in Woodinville. Good guys and good salesmen. I'd advise against Lake City Power Sports as they had zero interest in actually dealing with customers, but are pretty much the only Kawasaki dealer around. Once you get a bike let me know, I need a riding partner up here.

Realized I never posted my crash video:
  5. Nintendo 3DS

You are clearly failing on your quest, to be the best, like no one ever was.
  6. Is there still any interest in keeping this up? Every time I've popped in or checked the server there hasn't been anyone online. Next payment is due the 15th, and I was thinking about ending it then.
  7. I'm only halfway through (I think?), but the game has felt too streamlined from the beginning. None of the areas have been very memorable to me, whereas I could go into great detail about what I like/don't about the first game's areas. So much of the Souls series is about getting very very familiar with an area and mastering it, it's an integral part of the feedback loop that makes up the series - high fidelity requiring mastery. These areas are just areas that you pass through to get to the next area to pass through.
  8. College basketball

Yeeeeeeeeeeep. At least UNC is out now too. Just time for Louisville to knock out Kentucky and I won't care what happens.
  9. Dark Souls(Demon's Souls successor)

Yeah, but good luck getting one to drop.
  10. How far away am I from finding the Sunbros? I just finished up the big but just now opened up Not sure why I didn't go there earlier. I guess the other path seemed more the right way to go. I can't wait to get further into the game to figure out more lore stuff like (don't tell me)
  11. What's the scaling on it like? I've heard it went down to D in strength. If it adheres to the same goofy non-enemy-tracking that the Greatsword does, I may have to pass on it.
  12. Has anyone found any big two-handed swords? I'm looking for a zweihander equivalent and so far I have the Bastard Sword, but it feels a bit short and weaker than what I'm used to (Claymore in DeS and zweihander in DkS), so I'm hesitating upgrading it too far.
  13. I was really worried that it'd be too similar to the first Dark Souls. One of the things I like about playing Dark Souls then going back to Demon's is that they're different enough that Demon's doesn't feel obsolete. My fears are definitely allayed - this game is god damned weird from a Dark Souls perspective.

Think I added everyone in here. Origin: eclipt1c
  15. Ok this post makes me look insane now, but when I first when into that building, she was seated in a chair at a table with her hands on the table, facing a wall. Of course she can be in different positions around the room, but I didn't realize that.
