blackpostcards Posted September 19, 2015 Diet Cig https://www.youtube.com/embed/iVUcgmnm2GQ Distills a lot of what I loved about late 90's female-fronted post-punk. Modern reference point: Waxahatchee.
namman siggins Posted September 21, 2015 I've been hooked on these type of lounge, jazzy, 80s electronic music. I feel like I'm in a john woo film or another 80s Hong Kong action film https://youtube.com/watch?v=IFS7CeCQ7gU
eot Posted September 24, 2015 My thoughts on the new Maiden album haven't quite coalesced yet, but I think these two songs are my favouites. They also happen to be the two longest they've ever recorded, so if you have half an hour to spare: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CMY99WLRhc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8Yl6dCH8BA edit: I just found out there's a vinyl version that was mastered differently and sounds way better dammit
BadHat Posted September 25, 2015 Been waiting for this album to drop for what seems like forever! Crazy inventive metal, their first EP was intensely catchy and stylish. Good lord, the EDM guitar tone in this track - http://novallo.bandcamp.com/track/i-am

seamus2389 Posted October 4, 2015 I have been doing a deep dive into some old videos from West coast hip hop dance competition and this one is framed as a zelda-ish game in a very fun way. This crowd were the actually winner of the competion kinjaz were part of and this is one of best dances I have seen. Also one of the few that use just one song

twmac Posted October 9, 2015 Caught this band Milk Teeth in a little dive bar in Poland. They sound like Breeders with an additional shouty man occasionally: Very fun.
