MrHoatzin Posted December 4, 2010 What is going on here?! Apparently someone doesn't like the east or the west side.
ThunderPeel2001 Posted December 5, 2010 Apparently someone doesn't like the east or the west side. I don't really see what's so odd about this...? There's a lot of places with really unintentionally funky names.

ThunderPeel2001 Posted December 5, 2010 These are not actual places. The internet seems to disagree: http://www.hellosanantonio.com/neighborhoods/Third-World_San-antonio_TX.cfm Although that doesn't mean anything. Google has invented a similar anomaly where I grew up... it's been there for years on Google maps! Of course now we have websites dedicated to this fictitious place. Oddly there doesn't seem to be anyone complaining about it in San Antonio (except for you). You'd think there'd be more questions.
Nachimir Posted December 6, 2010 Map makers put fictitious things in their maps to make it easy to check whether or not someone is ripping off their data: http://bldgblog.blogspot.com/2010/10/trap-rooms.html
ThunderPeel2001 Posted December 6, 2010 Agh! How annoying if you decide to take that "short cut". Lol.
elmuerte Posted December 6, 2010 I thought they only created dead-ends, so you would never try to enter non existing roads.
syntheticgerbil Posted December 9, 2010 I guess I was thinking Third World, San Antonio was maybe located in the underground portion of the city.

Orv Posted April 2, 2011 This is some kind of shot at me I presume? "Squids aren't technically animals" is a podcast bit, from IGN. I believe it was a review of that animal pinata game? E: Viva Pinata, that's the thing. Dur. I don't know how to do fancy keyboard symbols! Don't judge me!
