Maybe a 14 will want a 360, but he'll only be able to afford a Wii... :mock:

Isn't the Wii the average Joe's console?

The Wii has better drinking games... so it's also for students

How do you classify someone who has both? :erm:

I read that this morning and just thought "what a dick". It's comments like those that swing me away from adding a 360 to my Wii, and back towards the wait-and-see fence. Good job well paid, Mr. Executive.

So far today though, this console generation seems to be mimicking the last one rather closely. First you've got your "lol Nintendo, more like Kidtendo!" crap, and then you get your people want to like Nintendo's offering but they can't seem to get enough AAA titles out of the door story. Someone remind me what comes next. Something about third-party games not selling as well as Nintendo's own games should be right around the corner.

Child in a man's body

How about 19 year old (and none too mature-acting) student? Can I get away with that one? Please?

While it's true that the 14 year old will like the 360, when they exit puberty and start to realize that fun doesn't exclude light-hearted, they'll probably start wanting that Wii again. That or they'll want good games to drink with, as elmuerte has mentioned.

It's a shit comment anyway, because the 360 is offering kids' games as well, just as much as the Wii offers mature experiences.

On the PS3 launch day the stunts were slightly amusing. The mud-slinging around this batch of console launches is really tiresome though.

Surely the question that really needs debating is: is this man a twat?

We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14 they want something else

I'd like to think that as soon as a customer turns 18 -- in other words, an adult -- they would want something more than constant torrent of shallow war games.

Don't get me wrong, I like my 360 (arcade mostly), but the barrage of games targeted at those 14-18 year olds (let's face it, even though they're rated M, a lot of them are quite immature) -- constant gun battles and over the top fantasy and sci-fi -- is getting tiresome.
