Does anyone know if they are going to release Mr Driller for the DS? That would seal my decision if that came out. I might even stop playing Biomotor Unitron on my Pocket Colour and fork out for the Nintendo oddity.

Uhh yeah, I'm fairly excited about Nintendogs. I can't predict whether I will actually like it, but playing it sounds worth it even just for research.

It's blowing my mind how much amazing stuff is on that list. I'm just about to leave to go pick up Advance Wars DS and Nintendogs.

I got nintendogs today. It's pretty cool and actually reminds me of Animal Crossing. It's one of those games you can pick up and play for just 10 minutes. The dogs don't require constant attention and it seems to encourage you to not play it for hours. It makes you wait half an hour after you take your dog out for a walk before you can take it out on another walk, you can only enter 3 competitions a day, and my dog is already tired of learning tricks for the day.

I just realised Electroplankton isn't on that list. Or is that already out in the states?

What does everyone make of the 3 different versions approach with Nintendogs? If I ever got the game, I would want breeds from more than one of the versions :/ seems kind og annoying to me but I suppose if they could fit all of them onto one cart then it's not so bad that there's more breeds available overall.

Well, Gamespot's saying Nov 14 for electroplankton, and they better be right, damn it. I wants that game so bad.

Stupid two at once release. Now I have to decide between Nintendogs and Advance Wars. I'll get whichever one I'm not getting this week on my next paycheque, but still. WHY MUST I CHOOSE??? I feel like I'm mistreating one by buying the other.

On another note, YAY! Mario Kart, Mario & Luigi, Viewtiful Joe. Many happy days to come.

Huh, November is going to be quite a busy month with Mario Kart, Mario & Luigi 2 and Sonic Rush coming out.

Although I'm still not sure how Sonic Rush will turn out. It does seem like old school great Sonic gaming mixed with DS abilities, but I hope the end result isn't like the GBA Sonic games...

Well, if you ever meet someone with a different version of the game, it will send some of their breeds to your version of the game. Plus you can unlock more breeds just from winning competitions.

What didn't you like about the GBA Sonic games? I haven't played them but I've heard good things and have meant to check them out.

From what I played of Sonic Rush at E3, it did seem pretty good. The only thing I didn't love about it was the actual rush move itself, it just seemed to make things a little too easy, not that sonic games were ever hard but it was as if you could get through a whole level by simply bashing the rush button. I'm sure that wont be the case in later levels though.

The playing over both screens thing worked well though and the game was fun and the art style wasn't bad and you can see it all in the trailer really. I think it will be good :yep:

Edit: I'm curious about this new character though, I'm afraid she'll be shit.

"Every dog in Nintendogs is available in all three versions of the game, but from the start you're stuck with the first six dogs listed specifically for the version you pick up. Eventually as you earn money, you'll gain access to more and more of the dogs that aren't native to your copy."

Ah, ok, in that case I don't mind it so much. Damn me for not doing my research ;(

Wow. That Sonic Rush trailer actually looks pretty sweet. The boss fight gave me feelings of the first Viewtiful Joe. Very nice. My only concern now is Sonic's repeated screams of "YEAH!" I'm thinking that could get real annoying real fast.

It also says so on the box.

I was hoping New Super Mario Bros. would at least be a 1st quarter 2006 release, I need a new Super Mario game... badly.

It is a great list, and I do need to buy a DS already.

Point taken. I was actually thinking more along the lines of how sick I got of Link screaming all the time in every Zelda game since '98 (even the fucking GBA remake used the same audio as OoT. GRAAAH!) but you make a solid case. I find Mario more endearing though. Link and Sonic's yells are too serious. Mario is just so cartoony you (meaning I. I really have no clue about your reaction) can't help but smile when his ass catches on fire yet again.

I don't know about the Sonic Advance 1 and 2 games, but I have the third one and I don't like it at all.

The musics are bad and also the level design is very confusing. I just don't get the feeling of speed from the game, usually Sonic's gameplay is very fast.

I have heard though that Sonic Advance 1 is a much better game, it has great musics, or so I'm at least told.

Has anyone played Nanostray? I don't think that's out in europe yet and it looks pretty phat.

Yeah, I ordered it from US and graphics in it are very gorgeous, but it's kind of hard to control. Shin'en didn't seem to figure out how to make a good controlling scheme for the game.

And also it doesn't have much use for the touch screen, you only change weapons with it.

It feels like quite a mediocre game.
