  1. The Big VR Thread

I am looking forward to Ace Combat 7-- always liked the series a lot and VR is an obvious next step. A bit worried that they are putting too much money into it and it won't be fun as a result (grumble grumble)
  2. The Last Guardian

Some people are complaining that Shadow doesn't have the same ethereal graphical quality as the original release. And after seeing some side by side screenshots I agree, it is really stepping back from the original vision and giving it an 'Uncharted'-like feeling instead.
  3. Owlboy!

Anybody playing this? After two hours I'll say this: it feels great to control and is just so so polished. An indie game that just kept polishing itself for a decade! Lovely illustration and animation. It has really sucked me in so far. Gameplay and story so far are pretty basic though, I'm not sure what to expect on this front.
  4. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

I'm on board but the whole thing looks kind of big doesn't it? I think the WiiU gamepad is too huge to be a good portable system.
  5. No Man's Sky

As I understand it the PC version is not very stable, but can someone comment if the pop-in that is so obvious on the PS4 version is fixed on the PC version?
  6. Pokemon GO

Yeah I think that's it. Also I assume most of the people who are into Pokemon Go don't normally play games? People also like a fad to latch on to. Oh well, hopefully it'll shut up the Nintendo investors long enough that they can make some real games in the background.
  7. Keiji Inafune's Mighty No.9

Man, dreadful trailer...it's like a slap in the face of the fans who backed the project: "Oh do you like video games? You nerd? Did you back this project? Hmm? Why are you hitting yourself? Huh?"
  8. Nintendo 3DS

32 GB is the limit I believe. They do have the info on the ninty website so google it. Yes! I only gave the bare minimum of $1 and made sure not a cent of it went to 'charity'. I played for a few minutes and can tell it is Wayforward at their best, just have to get some work done this week so I can actually play a bit of it. Also Griddlelol I am playing through Tactics Ogre now, which I remember you couldn't get into. My sentiments were the same as yours, I just could not get into it and finally tried again (third attempt!) and I am sixteen hours in and hooked. Just get one at Müller for 10 EUR, that's what I did...also I got the Hanafuda plates on:
  9. Nintendo 3DS

Used this bundle to finally get Shantae 3ds.
  10. The Big VR Thread

I really enjoyed Mario tennis on virtual boy.
  11. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

The patent application showed handles on the controller that make it look very ergonomic, you can probably just snap those on (if this is the real design) so I'm not too worried about that. Some of the reddit comments suggested dynamic physical buttons being a possibility, but I doubt it...that tech looks expensive and is probably not durable. Who knows? We will see if it's real or not...
  12. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

New pictures look real though, so I'm not sure what to think.
  13. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Yeah those both look fake, still not much information on the system in general so nothing concrete to discuss really.
  14. IGN says Firewatch has already sold 500k copies, which puts its revenue around 10 million USD so far (or at least close). Congrats guys, hopefully Camp Santo will keep them coming!
  15. I backed this too and have it installed but no time to play right now.
