  1. AGDQ 2020

Wow a Destiny 2 raid? That seems highly ambitious. I wonder if it's possible for Bungie to somehow provide them a local server to play on.
  2. The Witcher 3: What Geralt Wants

It has been confirmed to be 540p in handheld and dynamic up to 720p (but will rarely hit this) in docked mode. Also confirmed is that they will use a 32GB cartridge, meaning no extra downloads required. Very nice to see after a bunch of devs cheaped out on the cartridge size, forcing people to download the bulk of the game they bought physically. The obvious stuff that was immediately visible from the trailer was that character models were very low poly (look at that crow again), textures are very basic (leather on Geralt's armour is basically a flat brown colour), and his hair is actually just terrible if you look at it for more than a second. Still, very interesting that Witcher devs wanted to get this game on there.
  3. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

That was a really good Direct imo 2 new characters in Smash Direct sequel to BotW Animal Crossing is doing something new and has 8 player multiplayer Witcher 3??? Lots of old school classics getting remakes (Mana, Panzer Dragoon) And quite a big variety of other games No Bayonetta 3 or Shin Megami Tensei though (and no Metroid Prime 4 but nobody expected that to show up)
  4. The Witcher 3: What Geralt Wants

Yo this game is gonna be on Switch That's Wild It doesn't look good at all but hey Witcher on the go
  5. Marvel movies

Hey I watched Avengers Endgame yesterday. Here's my spoilerific thoughts:
  6. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

The friend stuff uses archaic friend codes! And different games have different, confusing ways of grouping up to play with friends. Although one advantage of using friend codes is that people can change their names whenever they want, (cough cough playstation cough cough) What games have you grabbed for the Switch so far?
  7. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

One of the early bosses in Metroid Prime 2 was extremely difficult for me because the room constantly dealt damage to you over time. I had to backtrack and find as many energy tanks as I could (I had 3 at the time; found 2 more by scouring the map), before I could beat the boss, and it was still close. No other boss in MP2 gave me that much trouble. Metroid Prime 3 had one difficult boss that I think I never actually beat; a friend beat it for me. It's been a long time since I played any of them, but I probably wouldn't buy them on Switch because I too still have my Wii U hooked up to my TV. A Metroid Prime 4 announcement would probably get me to replay at least the first one again (and then play MP3 anyway because that one is quite short, from memory).

I couldn't skip or fast forward through the AC3 credits at all. Also because there is a post-credits epilogue that I wanted to play, I didn't just quit out in case it wouldn't save until after the credits.

I can't believe the credits for Assassin's Creed III is almost 20 minutes long. I went back after it to try to finish up some liberation missions (I don't really care for the other side stuff but I figured liberation missions are interesting enough), but one of them bugged out and I couldn't complete :'( there's also an epilogue mission I think, so I'll finish that off before I move away from it.

Just finished Bayonetta on my Switch. The combat is really fun, despite me being pretty bad and getting stone statues after every level segment. I don't like QTEs though. I often died in them but at least there are frequently checkpoints right before and right after a QTE happens. The story though...I had no idea what was going on through the entire thing. I looked up a synopsis after I finished the game and some things made a bit more sense but overall I guess it's still kinda nonsense to me. Still looking forward to playing Bayonetta 2 next.
  11. I should definitely branch out and look at more specialized engines! But my game-making experience has so far been 100% with game-maker, so I just went with it. It's very clunky (e.g. I don't know how to make text scroll), but with limited time, I just went with what I was familiar with. Also the mini-games were supposed to be more involved but stuff was breaking so I cut some of it out. Thanks for checking it out though!
  12. Oh, it's supposed to be a generic office and not specifically a doctor's office haha. Was there any part of the room that made it look like a doctor's, specifically? Also I will check out that keep clicking the cat line to see if there's anything I need to do to remove that. Thanks for checking out the game
  13. [Released] A Thousand Dormant Machines

I did the thing! This was my second attempt. The first time I was very confused and produced a whole lot of waste. The first time, I used the splitter and had three lines of production going, but since the game calls for a single pallet to be made, on my second attempt I just had the one line of production to produce a single pallet. Now I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be able to feed a palletizer from three conveyors, but that didn't seem to work the first time and added to my waste. Really cool game though!
  14. Ahhhh right right gotcha. Will do so now.
  15. It's very barebones, but I've released a demo version of the game now: https://superhiero.itch.io/they-came-through-the-floor There's a LOT I still want/need to add. The story is incomplete, and the choose between 3 mecha thing hasn't been implemented at all. I hope to add to it over the next week, but I'm busy with other things, so it might not be finished until maybe a couple of months later. Looking forward to checking out everyone else's games though!
