Dead Island fails to live up to its name and is in fact alive

Not woth it, in my humble opinion. Though if you got a group together and everyone promised to play together and not level up without you, it might be all right.

 

Edit: Not that the other things in that bundle wouldn't be worth it. SR3 for life.

Dead Island is ok as a single player game. It gets a bit repetitive, so might not be worth playing through the whole thing, but just experiencing 1/2 or even 1/3 would be worth the pay-what-you-want or whatever the low price is.

it's a such a bad game in so many ways that laughing about it in co-op makes it better.

Me and a friend both got the bundle (we got it for SR2&3) so if I play it at all it will be with at least one other person.

I also bought that bundle, I didn't know the game would be bad. Maybe we can schedule a idletumbs coop?

I think what made the game bad for me was how promising the first area was and then how badly it fell apart after that. Also, I was expecting the world to be a little more dynamic.

it isn't. Just don't expect the rest to be very different from the first area.
