DanJW Posted April 18, 2007 My theory is that he was just trying to review Manhunt 2 and the slightly garbled result was misunderstood.

ThunderPeel2001 Posted April 18, 2007 At least there's some hope: "I only recently learned of this. Anyone who knows Andrew knows he would never do anything violent. This was clearly a cry for attention that came from a very dark and lonely place inside of Andrew. It seems the media in general is already treating this as some hot topic when, in reality, it is a small story about a sad and confused guy who needs to get some help. He is now getting that help." I hope he gets better!

kennyken67 Posted April 19, 2007 thats a clear cut case of acting without thinking. and a quite stupid one at that... Ive only seen one episode of that show, from a link someone on here posted. Is it just me or did that guy seem like he was slightly mentally challenged?
DanJW Posted April 19, 2007 Aren't they all slightly (with the exception of the female who merely has a necrophilia-play fetish and dubious relationships with older men)?
loonyboi Posted April 19, 2007 I never got around to watching GameLife. Now I don't regret that. Not that I ever did...it doesn't seem like I missed anything worthwhile, other than the aforementioned moderately attractive young woman.

SpiderMonkey Posted April 21, 2007 Maybe it's just me, but the only thing that genuinely surprises me about this story is the suggestion that the guy was in any way associated with a university. Watching the show for just 2 minutes is enough to give the strong impression that either he has a mental disability, or is just very stupid. That's what made laughing at the show (or raging at it, as some prefer to do) so incredibly awkward. I'm not at all surprised that he's the kind of guy who has no comprehension of basic social etiquette of how to treat people (esp those of the opposite sex) and of the limits to how one can acceptably express one's anger. Nick Posted April 22, 2007 I feel sorry for Alex. I get the feeling he'd be quite lost without Andrew
