Erkki Posted June 9, 2013 Another interesting FP game on Greenlight (and had a kickstarter apparently). This is really interesting - a horror game from the perspective of a two-year-old. Also, making a whole thread for this made me think whether we should have a thread where we post links/descriptions to interesting but less known game Greenlights/Kickstarters/indiegogos/whatevers, like the Indie Compendium one -- kind of an Idle Forums curated crowdfunding. What do you think?
toblix Posted June 9, 2013 No, don't make more compilation threads! If this game is interesting, we can discuss it here. If not, it'll sink down into the archive. Compilation threads are the worst.
SecretAsianMan Posted June 10, 2013 No, don't make more compilation threads! If this game is interesting, we can discuss it here. If not, it'll sink down into the archive. Compilation threads are the worst. Agreed. Compilation threads become very large very quickly and the good/interesting stuff gets lost in the mix. If the game is worth discussing, it should have it's own thread; if not it can simply fade away...
tegan Posted June 10, 2013 Does that mean we can make individual threads for stuff already in the indie thread?
Max Ernst Posted June 10, 2013 This game looks interesting, but I have Kickstarter fatigue. Also, I am poor. Horror is a sensation explored far too often in video games, but the feeling of helplessness and the sense of scale that comes along with this game's premise could be really interesting. toblix Posted June 10, 2013 Does that mean we can make individual threads for stuff already in the indie thread? Sure. Making a new thread is not a super-big deal, and if a game is interesting enough to get a couple of posts in some «Talk about every little thing you've done today» thread, it could probably do with a separate thread. This, together with searching for existing threads before creating a new thread about a game, would make everything better.
