miffy495 Posted June 17, 2010 I'm pretty sure that a recent XBLA game fits the bill. I forget the name, but there was a Quick Look of it on Giant Bomb not too long ago. It was top-down, with some races and some vehicle combat. Sorry I missed out today. miffy495 Posted September 8, 2010 That sim damage race was great. In that Patters WENT FUCKING BACKWARDS RIGHT FROM THE START! I'm so glad the game took some pity on me and let me go forwards again after I rolled backward down that hill. I crawled over to the pit, got halfway through my second lap with my repaired car, and then THE FUCKER SMASHED INTO ME AGAIN. I did get laps 6 through 9 without any major collisions though, so that was nice. It was a lot of fun, and the replay has been saved, so we'll look to that again later. As such, I was wondering if there were any Thumbs out there up for a game on the Tuesday afternoon following (that is, the 21st)? 'Blix and Wrestlevania have already expressed an interest, so let's get this going. I've lost track of exactly what times here are compared to times in Europe/UK, but I believe that if we start at noon my time, that would be 2pm Eastern and 7pm GMT? My starting time for work on Tuesday got moved from 6pm to 3:30pm, so I may only be around for an hour and a half of game time on Tuesday afternoon. I'm still totally up for that, but if Wednesday might work better for people we could try and set up for that instead (or hell, as well if people want). I'll update this post when I've confirmed that nothing is bricked and that Forza 3 will launch (ie: I don't have that "surprise! Your disk drive doesn't work anymore!" thing).
