Me: Okay Rusalka here again...

That Rusalka, your Daughter, REALLY wants a picture of her mummy kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse

That her mummy would be LEGENDARY

I'd be so proud of you

My mother is going to be a Scientist, AND she kicked Bishop Brennan up the arse

I'll keep you updated. Hopefully my mother should have her foot wedged firmly between the Bishop's Buttocks by the end of the night and I can upload a photo.

British TV show. Not bad. Got something of a cult following as I understand, but being a canuck and all I'm a bit removed from all that.

As a dumb yank who knows nothing about this Father Ted of whom you speak (o'er here, we only watch shows with "America" in the title, like "American Idol), I have a quick question:

Do (did) you want to kick him up the arse (as long as I'm offering a culture shock lesson, we yanks say the less elegent "ass" too) (a) because he's annoying and she show sucks, (B) it's some sort of inside joke based on a quality show, or © he sucks on an otherwise quality show?

The answer is (B) it's some sort of inside joke based on a quality show.

There is a whole episode based on the fact that the main character, Ted, must kick the bishop up the arse. Because he lost a bet.

If you get the chance, everyone who has not done so should watch Father Ted. One of the best sitcoms in the last decade. It would probably have gone for longer, but alas the lead actor died. Sad day.

Well, more of an Irish show really, being written and performed by an almost entirely Irish cast and crew. [/national pride] :oldman:

And yeah, it's absolutely wonderful, I'd recommend it to anyone. The funniest part is, despite the insanely oddball characters, it's still very on the mark with regard to the national character, especially out in the sticks like where I am. Yes, I've really met people who get Mrs Doyle-level offended if you refuse a cup of tea.

I hope that there aren't a lot of people who actually try and kick the actor in the ass just because they recognize him from that episode. The guy is probably pretty old now. He did inspire one of my favorite Dougal lines though.

"Hello Len. How's the son?"
