PDA question?

Recommended Posts

I need some sort of PDA, or at least some sort of portable Excel, or a electronic checklist of some sorts, as long as I can search for data in the list, that is...

The thing is that....

The last time I went to a game store I had no idea of which was the last Mario Party I had, or Megaman Battle Network, or Quake, etc, etc.... :shifty:

I'd rather find out if their is some simple PDA with Excel, before I get carried away and buy a PDA with GPS, back massager and soda dispenser.... :deranged:

As long as I can sync up with the PC to tranfer the data, and I can search in the list/spreadsheet for specific title, that will do...

Any reccomenadations?

I would reccomenadate This one. It's a mobile phone and pda in one. And can do just about everything you expect from it. And more :)

Way over budget! Well OK, it isn't, but I'm looking for something simpler, and possilby not a phone, if I liked my phones that big, I'd have an N-Gage... :mock:

For some strange reason they seem to be more expensive in Europe or at least Spain... ;(

Maybe I should get a fancy smanshy one after all. If I can't get a simple one, that is...

Tanukitsune: that phone is no bigger than your average mobile phone. much smaller than an N-Gage.

In the end I got me a Hp iPaq 1710 which does everything I wanted it to. And since it uses a stylus like the NDS, I got used to it pretty fast...

I even get some points as a prize of sorts I can redeem for apps or games! The only interesting game they have is Sim City 2000...

Welcome to the SECRET WORLD OF PDA-OWNERS.

You need:

MultiIE (internet explorer with tabbed browsing)

PocketChat (IRC client)

RemoteAmp (control winamp from your PDA. Awesome. Works across the internet too. Goes great with shoutcast)

ScummVM

BetaPlayer (Divx/Xvid player)

PocketDivX Encoder (optimised for PDA screens/storage. fast!)

The first I will need a memory card, HP gave me points I redeemed for some games and my PDA is already full... :mock:

Since I have a Nintendo DS getting used to the PDA was pretty easy I can enter data into my Excel list with ease now...
