Tijuana Christmas and other ironically-appreciated holiday terrors

Recommended Posts

This is probably familiar to anyone who reads Boing Boing, but if you're looking for some Holiday Cheerse, look no further than the horn stylings of The Border Brass, on their holiday album Tijuana Christmas in MP3 form. Annoy family members, pretend your office is a grocery store from the early 60s, and more. Etc etc.

Fortunately for everyone, Christmas has been plagued with this kind of crap over the last 50 years. If anyone else has similar things please share them.

At work, they keep playing the same five christmas songs over and over and over again, and they're beginning to drive me insane. So I'm trying to download as many obselete Japanese Christmas Songs as I possibly can, or idiotic Christmas Remixors, and I'm going to switch the CD at work. Man, this is gonna be awesome!!!

Let's not forget that old Beowulfian classic, Deck the Halls with Arms of Monsters...

Oh I can so relate. In the Mediamarkt at work we've been playing christmas song after christmas song. At times you just don't know what to do anymore when you hear the opening tunes of Pariah Carrey's or George Michael's christmas dabs. It got to a point where my barrier had been deconstructed and irridiated to such an extent that I broke down and spawned a tear when I saw The Muppet Christmas Carol. In my defense, it was a touching scene where Michael Cain receives a scarf from one of those scientist muppets after donatiing heavily to the orphanage.
