  1. SUPERHOT

Yeah, I enjoyed all of the terminal non-sense in this game.

I refuse. I know this is a bit of a stretch if you are new, but Adobe has a pretty great deal on a monthly subscription to lightroom + photoshop if you are in the US. Lightroom has been invaluable to me as an editing tool and a a cataloging tool for my raw files.

I finished this last night on the train and I had the same thoughts about the pacing - even the ending scene felt a little, short? Obviously this was more about the journey than the destination, but I couldn't help but to feel a little disappointed by how abrupt it ended.
  4. Star Wars Episode 8

I think your take is pretty similar to mine - there is a lot to love, but also a lot to face-palm over. There was something about the tone of all the humor they crammed into that really took me out of it. In the few gags that worked for me they really seemed to love to linger on the punch line a little too long. There has always been a bit of humor/brevity in the original trilogy but the slapstick nature and modern tone and just the pure frequency of it in TLJ seemed over the top.
  5. I've signed up - this sounds right up my alley!
  6. Idle Cook Club 2 - Neither for here, nor to go

Oh man, I totally made corn dogs a few weeks back - I should have photographed them. I was trying to replicate a batter that result in a crispier tempura like exterior that is common In new Zealand. It didn't hit the mark fully but was still pretty OK. Also Puppy Chow is great - i did not realize it was regional myself as its a DIY version of 'Mudbuddies' by Chex-Mix.
  7. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

I picked up Steam World Dig 2 after slightly losing interest in StarDew Valley after 35+ hours - this game is pretty solid! I'm going to go between the two during my daily commute until I get Stardew Valley finished.
  8. Chronicles of cyberpunk [Release]

Congrats, nearly at the finish line!
  9. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Ah, it looks like that is when the GOTY edition comes out, google must have just tagged that as the switch release date!

I finished SpacePlan, a clicker game released on Steam - totally awesome. I didn't think I'd have an interesting narrative experience via a clicker game but it was a totally enjoyable experience.

Man, I really love everything about Splatoon 2 outside of the matchmaking and multiplayer design. Having to play the same maps over and over is a real bummer, also the whole time sensitive Salmon run mode stinks! I'm really trying to be better about beating games on Switch so i need to get through the story of Stardew Valley before I pick up the new Mario game. So much good stuff coming out though! Nov 14th - Rocket League! Nov 14th - Rime Nov 21st - Tiny Metal (Advanced wars, basically) Dec 1st - Xenoblade Chronicles Dec 13th - Night in the Woods

    Greatest GIF of all time

Thanks for sharing Cordeos, nice pictures! I really enjoyed the Water Buffalo shots, theres a real sense of depth with a herd that large.

Oh man, this recipe looks great, I might give this a go this week.

    Alright so
  16. Crota 2Day: A Destiny 2 Forum Thread

Yeah, the story bits seem very easy, but I definitely was over leveled so I may have ruined it for myself. I have 2 or 3 more story missions, but I hit 20 ages ago because I had a good time with public events and side stuff. I don't know why but the game feels inherently less social than PUBG, and I can't tell why I feel that maybe. Maybe because I got so used to the 20 minutes rounds and being able to switch between different crews with no problem. I feel very limited by the 3 man teams for strikes!

Have we done a bean prompt yet?
  18. Idle Cook Club 2 - Neither for here, nor to go

We eated all of the pork before I could make tacos.
  19. Hey there, I pitched into the kickstarter - hope you make your goal, you are obviously passionate about your game and I look forward to checking it out!
  20. HOWL O'WEEN (Halloween)

What's everyone dressing up as for halloween this year? I'm trying to think of a few ideas but having a hard time thinking about something cheap and clever.
  21. Divinity: Original Sin II

So we tried the 4 player co-op in game and man, it makes for a hectic time. I think we need to agree to have everyone go places as a group as we kept running into people going off and getting into fights solo and dying hah. Hopefully we can get all 4 of us online this weekend at some point and put a little more time into it.
  22. Idle Cook Club 2 - Neither for here, nor to go

I'm going to make a pork shoulder for Friday, I generally like to have it as bbq as a sandwich initially and then heat it up the next day with some cilantro and onion and a pork taco the next day. I'm not sure if that counts, but its tasty.
  23. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Thanks, I might have to pick that up for next time. I'm a little worried about the dexterity required but I think that if we don't worry about star count we'll be alright. I think I agree with Roderick, I have had about enough of the game. I really enjoyed my 25 or so hours of it but I am ready to move on.
  24. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Does anyone have any recommendations on local co-op for my niece and I? She's 5 and a half, but pretty smart for her age. We were playing Snipperclips but some of the more dexterous puzzle solutions were a bit hard for her. I have Minecraft, but I need to get a second set of Joycons or a pro-controller to play local co-op. Ideally we would just be able to use a single Joycon as that fits in her hand perfectly, the two of them together are a little large. She loved Mario Kart but she really wanted to play together vs against each other. I'm thinking maybe Stardew Valley would be awesome for her as she seemed very keen on Minecraft but I don't think it has a co-op component yet.
