I saw the kickstarter for this and thought it looked kind of ropey. If the execution is as good as RPS claims, then this is destined for my Steam wishlist indeed.

My hopes are unreasonably high for Mew-Genics. Reading this comic, I'm not sure if they are going to have multiple win-conditions like Civ 5, or if there is just a lot of freedom to create your own objectives. Either way, I'm looking forward to breeding AI in a game.

Also what they've released of the soundtrack so far is fantastic. OH MAN.

I'm pretty skeptical of mew genetics. None of the other breeding or combinatory games (something like doodle god on the most basic level) have managed to grab me. I'm sure I'll get genetics I'm just setting my expectations low since that's not normally the sort of game that attracts me.

The only genetics-related game I've ever gotten into was Crusader Kings II, because there was a whole other game outside the breeding to validate my efforts. It seems like Mew-Genics doesn't have much in the cards for that, so I guess I'm guarded too.
