toblix Posted May 1, 2012 So here's a game that's only the stats of an RPG. I think it's fun, so I'm pretty sure I suck.
vogon Posted May 1, 2012 protip for after you clear parameters the first time: the slot machine is super broken, and if you click on it really quickly it will pay out a fairly good fraction of the time. if you exploit this behavior as soon as it opens, you can clear the game in under 30 minutes. yes, I just laid down a protip for parameters. yes, I know how sad that is. Murdoc Posted May 1, 2012 I'm not sure if this is real or a commentary on modern rpgs or games in general....
AteBit Posted May 2, 2012 I'm not sure if this is real or a commentary on modern rpgs or games in general.... Why can't it be both? Beat it in 12mins after my first 37min play through (took that long to figure out how to unlock the last ? room in the top right corner). Wish the layout would be random, but I guess that wouldn't really change anything.
berniesbc Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah, how the hell do you unlock that last one?
vogon Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah, how the hell do you unlock that last one? you have to buy every weapon and armor upgrade and finish every mission and monster in the game except the boss and the second, real boss , if it's the one I'm thinking of. there's no way to do it other than slot machine abuse, I don't think. AteBit Posted May 3, 2012 Yeah, how the hell do you unlock that last one? Fill the hard to see, one pixel thick, combo meter that runs the width of the play field under the stats at the top. Just keep picking up stuff (cash, xp, letters) at a steady rate, and it will fill with a blue colour, hard to see. Stop collecting for a second, and the bar empties. When it reaches the end, the blue fill will turn cyan, and the top right corner room will unlock. You need to have a fair bit of recovery (RCV) to pull it off, easy to do once you get going. Best you don't click it until your level plateaus though. It gives you a bunch of cash, not sure how much exactly, but it's multiplied by your current level.
