Erkki Posted March 9, 2010 What twitter clients do you use? I actually like using the web UI, but I'm missing just two things that lately have started to annoy me: * no bookmarks * a two-tiered list of people I follow. I ended up following too many people to keep up with my twitter feed all the time, so I had to remove some that talked too much (but occasionally I'd like to see what they say or in response to what without having to navigate the maze of twitter). Are any of the desktop clients good for that? A bonus feature would be syncing my work & home PC's settings/bookmarks.

Umm... can't you just make a list of those people who don't want constant updates from? And if you're like me, you're not so ridiculously popular that using the "mentions" feature of Twitter is sufficient to see the responses of people who you don't follow. As for syncing settings and junk, Tweetdeck is pretty damn nice, from my experience. I've also heard great things about Seesmic, though I haven't had the motivation to try it out. Patters Posted March 9, 2010 I use a combination of web and Seesmic. Seesmic integrates lists fairly well, so you can make a list of people you would follow if they didn't fill your stream (ala Kevin Smith).

monkeyarmada Posted March 10, 2010 I use DestroyTwitter on my desktop, it's an Air app and quite unobtusive. On my phone (a palm Pre) I use TweeFree, it's free. Have not managed to work out how I would use lists, I only really follow friends so probably don't have the need.
Rueler Posted March 11, 2010 I don't really use a desktop Twitter client, but on my iPod Touch, I really like Twitteriffic. I just use the free version since the ads are pretty unobtrusive.
Scrobbs Posted March 11, 2010 Started off with using Tweetie, then switched to Echofon.
