monkeyarmada Posted February 28, 2010 My new project, a 94 Celica. Needs more than a little fettling...

monkeyarmada Posted February 28, 2010 Oh, so we're allowed to have flying cars now? Yeah baby, that's evo-fucking-lution! I think Patters has evidence of your foray into aerial automotive posted earlier... It begs the question, why can we put decals on the underneath of the cars, that's another 25% more ad space. monkeyarmada Posted March 3, 2010 Taking inspiration from the great British institution that is TopGear, how about running an Auction Challenge for next week? We set a credit limit and then race what ever we can buy in the Forza Market Place Auctions for that price or under. Waddaya think?

monkeyarmada Posted March 4, 2010 Some pics from last night, there is a bit of a theme appearing in my pics, shall we call it 'images of a robust racing style'? Wrestlevania, mid shaft. Wrestlevania, shafted. Detail - you can almost see him tense for the impact... :-P I don't remember us having a drift race... Thanks guys, that was a good one! toblix Posted March 4, 2010 Those are great! Thanks for reminding me to go back and snap some shots as well.
Patters Posted March 9, 2010 Since our race last week was fantastic, I would like to put forward: Rally Special, a single lap around Ralli, with B class cars. 4 wheel drive advised, Liveries required. Advised cars would be Imprezas, Evos, Focuses (4WD).
toblix Posted March 9, 2010 Would my reverse cow pattern constitute a livery?
Patters Posted March 9, 2010 Would my reverse cow pattern constitute a livery? I was more aiming for a race with actual rally liveries. There are a ton of free ones on the storefront. Some example cars are: 1983 Audi sport Quattro Renault 5 Turbo BMW M3 E30 (there is a good free design for this one) Any Lancia Any Focus. If you would like I could see if I could spec up a car for you? Send me a preferred base car and I'll see what I can do. You would have to buy the design yourself though. Aside: I really like building cars in this game.

Patters Posted March 9, 2010 I have no idea what you mean by this, but if you'll explain it I'll try... In short I'd like a race with all rally cars. Who tend to be built for quick acceleration both off the line and out of corners and good handling. I put forward the livery idea as I love rally liveries, of all types of rally WRC and Rally America alike. Keep it in B class.
miffy495 Posted March 9, 2010 No, I mean I am the opposite of a car person. I have a general conception of rally racing in my mind, but the term "livery" is new to me...
Patters Posted March 9, 2010 No, I mean I am the opposite of a car person. I have a general conception of rally racing in my mind, but the term "livery" is new to me... Oh OK a livery is essentially the collection of vinyls and decals which are there for aesthetic and advertising reasons. So these are examples of them: I'm not expecting this to start from tomorrow, in fact when Wrestle gets back would be an ideal time to start it. I have toyed with a Renault 5 and an Audi Quattro, both are good, though the Quattro has the edge for me.
Wrestlevania Posted March 10, 2010 When Wrestle gets back would be an ideal time to start it. I have toyed with a Renault 5 and an Audi Quattro, both are good, though the Quattro has the edge for me. Quattro's the daddy. I'll be back in about 3 weeks. Flying out to SXSW tomorrow morning, back a week later, then off to Disneyland Paris on the train for a few days with Mrs V and the kids shortly after. I will miss the racing with you all though. miffy495 Posted March 10, 2010 I'll be a little late entering today, but should be around by quarter after. Keep those engines turning over.

monkeyarmada Posted March 10, 2010 Did we all quit after the Ring? I think my connection crapped out but yes, good racing... I'll post some pics in a couple of days, when get a sec.
monkeyarmada Posted March 14, 2010 A couple of pics... Rally Action Toblix has a secret... I think this is Borg technology, trying to assimilate my Yaris.
Patters Posted March 17, 2010 Is everyone good to start an hour later? with Miffy suffering from the clocks in Canada changing.
toblix Posted March 17, 2010 Oh, later? I thought you meant earlier. I'll probably make it then.
Patters Posted March 17, 2010 Oh, later? I thought you meant earlier. I'll probably make it then. Wait a second. I really hate DST, and I'm now confused. I think it would be earlier. Yeah on futher inspection it would be earlier. Miffy if you'd like I'm up for some gaming from 7GMT, either perfect dark, street fighter, dow, pretty much anything. If you're up for it gimme a shout. miffy495 Posted March 17, 2010 I just got an email from my professor. She has a cold, and so the class that I was going to have to be in at game time today due to DST is canceled. Normal game time (ie: without having to worry about my stupid clocks being changed) is fine for me, no special accommodations required. I may jump on an extra half hour early or something though, for a quick spin of Perfect Dark. I hear that the controls have been kept N64-style by default, and I'm really curious to see if I remember what it was like to play an FPS when I was 13. miffy495 Posted March 17, 2010 Monkey, 'blix, where were you today? Patters and I were killing time in Perfect Dark and were ready to leave the game as soon as you came online, but you never appeared. At least good times were had in PD...
