Spenny Posted July 26, 2019 Hey, so, I had limited time to develop this jam, so I made more of an experience than a game. Check out D E S C E N D I N G .... you can run it in your browser!https://spennydubz.itch.io/descending Some fun stuff from the dev process; I experimented with colours and procedural content and screenshots to create an underwater experience. I made / performed the music myself... it's an old ambient tape run through a series of effects. I don't know if I really even like ambient music, but, it was fun to perform! And I think it deffo fits the experience. Cheers ya'll!
Henke Posted July 26, 2019 The description doesn't lie. That was mellow AND mildly interactive! The only criticism I would offer is that the jellyfish can be seen spawning in at the bottom of the screen (WebGL version). Surely it'd be better if they spawned in off-screen and then swam in? Zirrrus Posted July 26, 2019 This was a neat experience! The sound was especially weird and interesting.
RKSanders Posted July 29, 2019 Cool stuff! The music reminds me a bit like some of the Hotline Miami stuff.
