Can I call this site "The T" when mentioning it in day-to-day conversations?

You really should start marketing a one-letter version of your site. There aren't that many to choose from, and some are already taken, like the McDonald's's M, and the, uh, I'm sure there're more.

I think Boston's subway line is already called "The T".

You can probably call it "IT"

"Thumb(s)," :shifty: or preferably "the Thumb" are the two officially sanctioned nicknames. "Idle T" is already taken by a forum smiley face (but you can use it if you really want).

:mrt:

Also, of course you can call the site Idle T, nobody cares :)

also: :shifty: chris

Isn't it "Thumbs" or (again, preferably) "the Thumb"?

Right now I'm still in the phase of acquainting my friends with the site, so I still use the full Idle Thumbs. I think, maybe, in a few months, I can start using my preferred The Thumb. Even though that's a catastrophy to pronounce.

What the hell is hard to pronounce about 'The Thumb'???

It's the two 'th' so closely following each other. But maybe it's just because English isn't my basic language. Or because I'm Dutch. Or because I'm just highly sensitive to pronouncing things correctly.
