Cordeos Posted June 9, 2015 If they can make the game like MoO 1/2 with real time combat I will buy it. I really hope they avoid the overly complex systems from MoO 3. http://www.polygon.com/2015/6/9/8746959/master-of-orion-reboot-coming-from-the-team-behind-world-of-tanks
Salacious Snake Posted June 9, 2015 Considering how people reacted to it, I doubt they'll take any cues from 3. (I still appreciate what they were going for in that game, but it just didn't work.) There's kind of a glut of science fiction "4X" games right now, but they all leave something to be desired for me, so I'm happy to see someone else take a crack at it. Bjorn Posted June 9, 2015 I'm excited about this! I really haven't gotten into many 4x games in the last decade, for a variety of reasons, but I would definitely give a new MoO a shot.
Dewar Posted June 9, 2015 Talking about MoO just makes me want to buy GalCiv3. Agreed though, I haven't played a space 4X game that's had everything I wanted in a long time.
