Wow. WOW. Okay, I can't pretend to be interested in politics, but I know enough to know that Thompson at least had some idea of what he was talking about, even if the opinion was a little simplistic. But you're being extremely unpleasant about it. Instead of acknowledging his opinion, even if you don't consider it valid, you're completely dismissing him on a personal level. Not only that, but you're pouring pure aggression and venom towards internet him, just because he disagrees with you. Alright, fine. He's 17. I'm 17, and maybe we haven't researched politics nearly as much as you. But does that really justify your vitriolic response?

That'd be me. I might be a bit of a squeeing fangirl about Gunnerkrigg Court. It's really unlike anything else.

So I'm going to clear up why I've stopped. Now that I've finally got my website up, and my blog up, and various other things in the works, I can finally start putting out the huge backlog of songs I produced in the form of downloads and albums. Not many people are paying attention to either, but hey! They're there. A side effect of this is that now the music I'm making I'm putting more time into, and therefore would like to actually do commercial things with. http://soundcloud.com/arcadiamerlot/turning-storms, for instance. The way remixes happen is that I'll have a song that I rejected as unfinished, throw the Thumbs in there, and it will magically fix it somehow. But I'm actually finishing most of the songs I make now. I might do the odd remix now and again, but for now, I'm officially halting these. Sorry.

I APPROVE WITH ALL SPEED although if I was looking to introduce somebody to Crystal Castles, I don't think I'd link them Air War, it's a bit too weird, and not terribly accessible. I'd either go with this: CqSIpaQHiLY Or this: T2gdbQpESNY But overall, one of my favorite bands. Whoo! Fanboy!

And you know what those things are in the backround? Laser cows. LASER COWS. If that doesn't make you want to read the comic, then you do not appreciate awesome things.It's not a gag-a-day, by the way. It's a serialized story, with lots of character development. It does have humor in it, but it's not specifically created for the purpose of making you laugh.

Looks like I'll have to be counted out of all future DoW 2 games, because for some reason, the game immediately crashes on startup for me for no reason whatsoever. I'm not bitter at all.

To post an actual reply, though, it's interesting how weirded out we are when a video game is so... normal. Whenever something believable happens in a video game, we're all shocked, call it "emergent", and storm the internet and tell everyone about. It's an interesting phenomenon. There really should be an :emergent: emote.
