Meh... not long enough. Where are the 40 hour long single player dad joke games we used to have?
-
Oh right, forgot about that. Thanks.

I would love to replay all the Uncharted games, but I'm really not looking forward to the various dumb fights, especially nearing the end.

The ALL NEW Monday Night Multi-Thumbs RANDOMIZER
elmuerte replied to Lu 's topic in Multiplayer Networking
It started off with him supporting gamergate, and then it continued with dubious activities around how he handled contractors who worked on this game. He changed the name of this "studio" to get away from some of the bad associations. -

Lu, can you remove "ORION: Prelude" from the list. I added it yesterday, but then I read up on the lead developer, and I don't think we should support him. -

The Ship was kind of boring after a while. The first session without bots kinda sucked, you really need to have a crowd. -
That looks really awesome. Especially when you ran into the pencil sharpener and it moved a bit instead of being an unmovable object.

I've played all blands alone, and also playing the pre-sequel alone. I haven't had any problem getting good loot or beating the game in BL2. To me the pre-sequel feels more like a blands 2 than blands 1. Pre-Sequel is like blands 2 with new levels, some new weapons and new enemies. I haven't found a good assault rifle yet, because my shotgun is so damn good (playing as Wilhelm)

Hatred: The Most Despicable Game of All Time?
elmuerte replied to Architecture's topic in Video Gaming
I can wait. I'm too busy murdering aliens, zombies and other beings. -
But they do create a different ecosystem. And there are more options besides dams. You can also generate energy from the tides. (they also impact ecosystems, and are also costly in maintenance.)

Hatred: The Most Despicable Game of All Time?

Maybe it's just me, but I did not notice the trailer mostly depicted violence to non-whites. I just saw a long haired guy executing various people. I just re-watched the trailer because of the mentions of racism etc.. And yes it's true, pretty much all highlighted executions are against non-whites. Does this my view I posted earlier. Well, yeah, because now the game does present a purpose for this violence: ethnic cleansing. They should have present a more balanced set of executions, 1 white person, 1 colored person, 1 asian person, and 1 puppy. That would be way more political correct. Of course there's still the ties to white supremacy which would make that political correct presentation of executions rather dubious. I'm not sorry for my initial view on the game due to me not acknowledging any race or ethnicity being presented in the trailer. I wonder what those gamergate people think about this game. -
Hachee is the best (a Dutch beef stew). (with mashed potatos and red cabbage).

Tron 2.0 ... yeah... loved that game. Finished it multiple times. Quite underrated. First of all, it fits the world of Tron much better than the 2nd movie and animation series. As an FPS is also quite nice, has some great back story stuff going on. Steam blurb:

Coal, gas, wind, solar... all shit. Hydro is nice, but expensive as shit and not available everywhere. Nuclear is the best solution, especially with thorium based reactors. If those tree hugging hippies didn't managed to kill funding after a few incidents we would have had much better and safe reactors in operation now. But instead we have ancient reactors still operational but scheduled to be shut down in the near future. In the meanwhile, more people die and nature and society gets a greater hit due to coal and gas. Wind and solar is nice, but unreliable. Fusion... I hope they can sell it. ps, cold fusion is a hoax? last time I checked they we're sure if it was viable or not.

Hatred: The Most Despicable Game of All Time?
elmuerte replied to Architecture's topic in Video Gaming
Nothing wrong with a game with excessive violence. However, this game does not present any reason for it. It's just kill everything that moves? There's no special gameplay mechanic. I don't think this is the most despicable game of all time. Candy crush is much worse. Now if Hatred would give points for killing people, and points were required to unlock the next part (or you can fork over money to buy points), then it would be more despicable. Right now, it just looks like a game trying to sell itself based on the outrage it should create, but lacking any substance.
