  1. [Release] I'll Kill The Last Alien

Love the art for this - the 2D bits are nice and crisp, and the 3D feels like a weird 70s East European animation. The central idea is really clever, too, and gave me a great "ah ha!" moment. Like Gamma said, it is pretty tough, and I could probably have done with the levels' length being reduced by 10% (though the game length is pretty much spot on) plus maybe a health meter for the last alien, but I mastered it!
  2. [Release] The President's Dog

I'm a good boy! I really like the art and animations for this, very jovial to go along with a fun little rhythm game. Short, simple and sweet!
  3. Questions for @Kolzig: 1) did you have a lot spoiled for you already and 2) as someone who's only experienced them as audio, what order do you rate the books in?
  4. Life

+1 I'd go to management and say something along the lines of "I'm booking this well in advance because I know people with kids often book last-minute and are given precedence. I normally go along with that and work holidays, as you know, but this year I need vacation at this time and won't be able to cancel, so I'm giving you plenty of warning."
  5. See, this is why everyone should always read my posts thoroughly. EDIT: I just played the latest version and I had to put it down to baby mode but I finished it! It was a lot easier to appreciate the enemy mechanics at that difficulty setting, thank you!
  6. Sweeet! You capitulated to the demands of whiny gamers!
  7. The Big FPS Playthrough MISSION COMPLETE

Ooh, I don't suppose there's any chance that works online nowadays? Might be fun to do at least parts of it with comrades-in-thumbs...
  8. The Big FPS Playthrough MISSION COMPLETE

Dammit, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault is free on Origin right now, so I guess that's another WWII shooter to slot in. Apparently 'the game received "favorable" reviews according to video game review aggregator Metacritic'.
  9. [RELEASE] Transmission Lost

Have you checked the small antenna on your cabin roof?
  10. I played this and it looks really nice, funny acting and interesting set-up, but I seemed to be missing bits off either side. Is there a way to get this to go fullscreen?
  11. Really cool idea, and nicely balanced mechanics, plus the little revolutionaries are really cute! Also, it didn't happen every time, but getting the Call Of Duty-style guillotine POV death was very funny! I think I'd prefer it if there was a crosshair or similar, as I found it difficult to predict where the accoutrements were going to go, especially when the little peeps bunch up, and it's challenging enough without that as well! I got about 6700 as my highest, I think.
  12. [RELEASE] Transmission Lost

It was a little slow when panning around, I think, but not juddering or anything.
  13. Ah, I think I tried 1 when I didn't have honey but then forgot to try that key again when I did. It's a little confusing to have a number as the key for it, especially when it's right next to the counter display!
  14. I did have some honey (or that number went up anyway) but I couldn't work out how to drop it (or why I would want to - does it trap the bees so you can blow them up?).
  15. [RELEASE] Transmission Lost

I got a little stuck on that part too! Your comment that there's a hint up there got me through it, even though I didn't understand why I was doing what I was doing! Anyway, the production values on this game are immense! It looks fantastic, the level design is great and the voice-acting and music are really good. Lots of attention to detail and a very intriguing story as well, especially at that moment. Depending on one's taste in walking simulators, it could possibly be a little more succinct - but I love the way you lamp-shaded that! Total player-hoisting!

  17. [Release] Prepare for the Jelly

Nicely done! The presentation here is great: clear UI, tactile squirmy jellies that pop satisfyingly. I got to about wave 8 and found the best tactic was to spam sniper towers. If there's one thing I'd ask for, it would be a visual representation of how much damage the towers are doing to each jelly so I could judge my options a little better.
  18. [Released ] The Wizard

I agree with the first statement, but not the second. While this is unfinished and very buggy, I recommend people give it a go. Firstly because it looks absolutely gorgeous (lovely intro screen with a cinematic mix of 3D and 2D, lovely shader and model work) and is full of character, and secondly because there are glimpses of a really fun game here. If you got rid of the bugs, streamlined the interface a little and gave a bit more feedback on the time limit per customer, this could be a really adorable mixing game.
  19. [Release] The Robot's Lips

I agree, it was really cool to work with a team! We're discussing the possibility of polishing/remaking this, which would be exciting (but this will likely be a while off in the future).
  20. [Released] The Wizard

Nice retro graphics and sound, and it seems like you've got some interesting systems going here. It might be because I never play these types of games, but I didn't understand what what going on!
  21. Fun little interactive space and some good gags! Like playing as Duke Nukem's refined older brother.
  22. This is adorable - lovely Roger Hargreaves illustration style and a jaunty tune. I didn't know what the hell I was doing (couldn't get honey to appear, for example), but I sure killed me some bees!
  23. WIZARD JAM 5 // Welcome Thread

YET ANOTHER public announcement: you can edit your thread title by editing the first post and using Full Editor. No need to create a separate release thread! (And while you're there, remember to put your link in somewhere!)
