I finally got the game yesterday, yay! No time to play yesterday or today, oh crap... Oh well, maybe in the weekend then.

I came here just to post about that, really fascinating stuff. I could kill for a Fallout 4 that goes back to the original greatness that was Fallout 1&2, but since Bethesda is behind this one still, let me guess that it will be... a fps game. Good that we anyway have Wasteland 2, so I'll get my fix from that. Will Ron Perlman's voice make a return in the teaser tomorrow? I sure hope so.

I hope for at least for a few nice surprises. At the moment mostly waiting for Nintendo's Event and the official video reveal of Starfox.

Ahhh, I wonder how long will I still have to wait for my game to come from UK to Finland. I really hope it comes during this week. I want to join the battles and start leveling up already. I need to hunt down the inkling girl amiibo, I got already waiting in Japan at the wife's parents place the inkling boy and squid amiibos, but can't get those before October...

Japanese Nintendo Direct yesterday showed first video of the Bandai Namco game still with codename Project Treasure. Looks like a four player 3rd person hack'n slash game with a slight vibe of Left for Dead. This game is going to be f2p if I remember correctly?

Also Capcom is making Monster Hunter X or Monster Hunter X Cross or something like that for 3DS. So interestingly there are two Monster Hunter games now coming to 3DS and also this Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX from From Software. Capcom really putting all the eggs in one franchise bucket. But yeah that Chibi-Robo amiibo looks awesome, the game looks a bit underwhelming. It would be better as a Wii U game will HD style graphics etc. It has been too long since Chibi-Robo has had a proper game so that's cool that this one looks like a proper platformer and not some AR game like the previous one.

The Miiverse of Splatoon has had game review people posting all the time screenshots of the game etc. I think those had also online activies and not just single player? I wonder were those servers turned off for the time being? Nintendo UK online store is cool, but sucks for me since I'm from Finland so we have none of that. We don't even have Nintendo official presence here, just a sucky 3rd party company Bergsala handling (very badly) the distribution of Nintendo hardware and software.

Oh you got it already? My pre-order of Splatoon has still not been even sent. I ordered it from The Games Collection. But yeah fuck Shibata and NoE, always something weird with Europe.

Usually when I send emails to NoE to ask about something, they don't even bother replying anything. Now that's customer service. I sent Humble Bundle a mail about this bundle and they replied back inside 5 minutes.

Never cared about Just Cause that much but I am optimistic about this one. I just loved the movie so much when I saw it in the premiere. Hopefully they can reach the level of George Miller's insanity.

I really damn hate region locking. My mind was blown when I saw that Humble Bundle has a Nindie bundle for eshop codes. The bunch of games there are just amazing, actually I already have most of them, but seeing games that have not been released in Europe even though developers have promised to release those, that makes me really pissed. 26000 bundles sold in a really short time... The EU needs their own Nindie bundle damnit... Europe still doesn't have Moon Chronicles even though Jools Watsham promised to release it in Europe when all the episodes are ready and the final episodes were released months and months ago in Americas. Same for Woah Dave! game.

Finally got some use for my pile of Club Nintendo points cards. We Nordic people are such suckers and 3rd rate customers for Nintendo that we have never had Club Nintendo and so have never had the chance to get any of the goodies that have been in that service. Now with the digital download codes it's finally possible. Just sucks that I can't get points for any of the hardware I own, I would get like thousands if it only were possible to register those. I calculated I have 7000 points worth of cards so should be able to get some fun stuff out of the shop. Also really pisses me off that Super Smash Bros 3DS came with a Club Nintendo code, but yesterday I bought Super Smash Bros Wii U and it did not include a card. So now I can't get the Mewtwo DLC bonus from Club Nintendo. Damn Bergsala... By the way, any North American Thumbs want a download code for Mighty Gunvolt? I got a code from the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, but as usual it's only for North American eShop. We European suckers don't even have Azure Striker Gunvolt or Mighty Gunvolt in the eShop yet. Though we will FINALLY soon have at least Azure Striker Gunvolt. I can send the code (which hopefully still is valid and works) by PM. I don't know if it has some expiry date?

So they went and announced a new Starcraft game. During the past few weeks there were some wild and crazy rumours about it being a MMO game, but as it turns out Blizzard isn't stupid to compete with their own product (WoW) and Starcraft 2 is going to be a traditional RTS game. Lead designer is Dustin Browder (C&C: Red Alert 2, C&C: Generals, Emperor: Battle for Dune, The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth) This will sell at least 5 million in Asia alone. Any thoughts at the moment?

Paul Neurath and Tim Stellmach from Looking Glass fame have put up a new studio and a Kickstarter to fund Underworld Ascendant, a successor to the marvellous old Looking Glass games Ultima Underworld and Ultima Underworld 2. Neurath was the lead designer of Ultima Underworld. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/othersidegames/underworld-ascendant I have been funding way too much stuff in the past few years in Kickstarter, but stuff like this I just can't stay away from. Looking really damn interesting. They got about 30% of the amount pledged already during the first day so far. They say a playable prototype exists already and there are some clips in the Kickstarter video of the current build. Estimated release date November 2016 so that would be about 1,5 years from now. They seem to have the rights to all the elements of the original Underworld games, but not to the Ultima name. The characters, monsters, settings, and stories from the original Underworld games are all available. I suppose EA still owns the Ultima brand, right?

Yes, the remade 3D 3D one. Rodriguez was posting Twitter & Miiverse development stuff about the game sometime last summer or so, but it's all been quiet for a long time now. I have the game already on Wii and in Steam, but it would be interesting to see the remade version.

Some rumours said the two spinoffs would be about adventures of young Leia and young Han Solo. That would be quite boring. I'd rather see a standalone movie about Kyle Katarn and Mara Jade. I suppose those just aren't considered Disney approved Star Wars canon anymore.

Damn Nicalis, where are Ikachan and 1001 Spikes from Europe eShop? Also Tyrone Rodriguez was teasing last year about finally releasing the 3D remake of Cave Story in eShop, but nothing has been heard of that for over six months... The cartridge version of that game was super limited supply. Never even saw it sold anywhere.

Yes, awesome. I can always count on Wayforward actually releasing their stuff in Europe. Can't say the same about Nicalis or Renegade Kid... I am actually still a bit torn on should I buy Mighty Switch Force 1&2 and Shantae for Wii U or 3DS. What are the benefits & differences really?

I wish someone made a product list with pictures of all the crap that NoE, NoA and NoJ have had in that Club Nintendo since that service started. I could then get really depressed since Nordic countries never had Club Nintendo and so never had the chance to get any of that. Oh well, I did find a used Club Nintendo exclusive Super Famicom classic controller for Wii from Japan during a trip a few years ago, that was nice.

I already have Yakuza 4 on disc. Would've preferred Yakuza 3 instead, but it's not in PSN at least in Europe... I'm already waiting for Yakuza 5 so much. It really sucks Sega did not release Yakuza 1&2 HD in Europe or North America. In Japan that was released on Wii U and PS3, but at least we finally get Y5. Any similar deals for Europe?
