  1. The Big VR Thread

I really, really would like to play Rez Infinite on PSVR. Shame nobody I know around where I live has a PSVR. Some have just a PS4. It's the only VR game that I would absolutely want to experience.
  2. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

Paradise Lost: First Contact is yet another Wii U developed game that can be forgotten. In it's Christmas Kickstarter Backer update comments the developer responded that Wii U version will not happen and once they someday get the PC version ready, they will look into porting it to Switch. As with Yooka-Laylee, this was promoted in Kickstarter project as being mainly a Wii U, Ouya and PC game. But the project is already two years late from it's original launch date. The PC demo however was great, they released that for all backers during Christmas.
  3. Quantum Break coming to PC

Would've maybe bought the game in the Steam sale, but next year the sale will be bigger than what they gave now. Too many games to be played right now so I can wait. http://www.polygon.com/features/2016/12/28/14101058/remedy-new-game-p7
  4. General Video Game Deals Thread

It is really annoying that the Steam wishlist discount notifications are popping up 1-2 games at a time and happening all the time.
  5. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

I am quite sure that Netflix will come for sure. They make a version of their app on every device. It would be great to have HBO, Amazon Video etc on it also. That actually reminds me, now that Amazon Prime Video is available in +200 countries, I wonder if the Wii U Amazon Video app is now available in all countries? It was not available for Finland earlier, but I have always seen the Miiverse community listed for it.
  6. Android Games

So, has anyone here played Hill Climb Racing 2? I have started it just a bit to complete the first cup and get some gear. It was said to have also some sort of online multiplayer, but I haven't added any friends in it so I haven't seen any real multiplayer at least on that part.
  7. Splatoon is Ink-redible

The Art of Splatoon book is coming out next year. It's a Dark Horse English translated version. Dark Horse seems to be always the one doing these as they did the Zelda books also. http://www.polygon.com/2016/12/19/14013404/the-art-of-splatoon-release-date
  8. Android Games

I bought all the three GO games from Google Play Store now in December as all of those were with heavy discounts, like -60%. Haven't had much time yet to play those, but it's interesting to see how much the games have changed, Hitman Go seems to be the oldest since it's not as advanced as Deus Ex and Lara Croft games are?
  9. Full Throttle Remastered

What I've heard is that they are going to fix the wall kicking puzzle. I'm sure the remaster will be great. A lot of love is being poured into the project.
  10. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

The Unity support being weak on Wii U is a fact. The Wii U wasn't designed for Unity really at all, that is true. A bit too much internet raging on my part I suppose, sorry about that. I'm just annoyed that all these cancellation news are popping up so fast inside a week or two from various devs regarding games that would have been so cool to have. But, regarding Shantae, WayForward just today announced new update on the development especially concerning Wii U backers. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236620800/shantae-half-genie-hero/posts/1764352
  11. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

Oh yeah, I had totally forgotten about Shantae Half-Genie Hero since that Kickstarter project kept getting pushed later and later for the release date. It's good that it's finally coming out even if late a bit over two years from the original estimate and it certainly shows that some developers have class and keep their word about the release platforms. The Wii U version exists for sure as the Wii U backers received their codes a few days later than other platforms, but it is all ready now for next week. Funny reading the KS comments though since some European backers have received the US code for the game and can't play it because of that. I have to mark that down that it's coming actually next week out digitally and best of all the release happens same time in Europe and America.
  12. Rockstar Games presents: Bully

Thanks for the merge of threads to whoever was the mod who did this.
  13. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

It really annoys me so much that Playtonic in the end threw the Wii U version under the bus even though they have been shouting for 1,5 years that Wii U is their lead platform with PC that they are developing themselves. If the issues really are what they said, then I would imagine that professional game developers would notice those technological difficulties earlier instead of saying everything is going great. I could say the same for the Stardew Valley developer. It was said to launch on Wii U in December and then just a few weeks before the supposed launch date they announced it's not coming at all and maybe will come to Switch instead. Such bullshit. The rats are just escaping the boat because Nintendo officially announced that Wii U is no longer in production and the first official infos came of Switch. Still you have around 12 million Wii U owners that are potential buyers. Yooka-Laylee was supposed to be the true last 3rd party swan song on Wii U and I did not back it in Kickstarter, but I was planning on buying it on Wii U to support those devs for really making an effort. Now I don't feel like getting the game anymore. I think I might someday but I'll get it from GOG when it's like 5 dollars instead of 40 dollars. I just don't care anymore about it, these news are always such a letdown. Tropical Freeze is really great platformer but tough and Captain Toad is a fun spin off game. It's a pure joy to play.
  14. Nintendo 3DS

This would be really cool, if there were any Nintendo Zones in Finland. But the suckers removed those two years ago. So no Miyamoto for my 3DS. Tezuka I already have. http://www.nintendo.co.uk/News/2016/December/StreetPass-two-very-special-Mii-characters-at-Nintendo-Zones-1166223.html
  15. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Dark Souls trilogy on Switch sounds really interesting. That would be so much hardcore in one package that I'm not sure if my brain could handle it.
  16. Rockstar Games presents: Bully

I would've resurrected an 11(!!!) year old thread for this, but since that's not possible then here's a new thread. Rockstar released two days ago a 10th Anniversary Edition of Bully, only on Android and iOS. Ported by War Drum Studios. Features:• Includes the complete Bully story with extra missions, characters, classroom mini-games, and unlockable items from Bully: Scholarship Edition• Gorgeous graphics: high resolution textures, dynamic lighting, shadows and particle effects• Native support for high resolution displays• Challenge your friends anywhere with turn based multiplayer Friend Challenges. Play on the go and get notified when it’s your turn• Intelligent touch controls with contextual buttons only when you need them• Seamlessly continue your game across all your devices with cloud saves via the Rockstar Games Social Club • Physical controller support As with at least GTA:Vice City, I keep wondering why do they make these updated versions only for mobile devices? Why not do an updated version for PC as well? I don't care about Bully that much, but the GTA:VC updated version keeps bothering me. I just don't care about playing on a tablet or phone these kinds of games. Original GTA:VC is still awesome, but I'm just curious about the updated one that how it looks and plays. I've only played Bully on Wii years and years ago and even then I quit in the middle because the game just felt so boring.
  17. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Is it just me or is Reggie becoming bald? At the point when they started Zelda and Reggie was playing the game and looking at the screen wall away from camera.
  18. Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Fallon is such a fake, but Reggie's body was ready. The Switch was shown at The Tonight Show.
  19. MechWarrior: 5 Mercenaries

The video looks really promising. Gaaahhhh! I so wish for a great modern MechWarrior single player game. Somebody should rescue the old MW games also to GoG etc. I'd love to play again MW2 after all these years.
  20. Full Throttle Remastered

I hope DF releases a desktop wallpaper and mobile wallpapers again for Full Throttle like they did for DoTT and Grim Fandango. I still use the green and purple tentacles as my mobile wallpapers. Those were just really perfect for phones.
  21. Full Throttle Remastered

Yeah the thumbnail looks weird. Here's comparison screenshots from IGN: http://uk.ign.com/articles/2016/12/02/13-new-full-throttle-remastered-screenshots
  22. Full Throttle Remastered

http://www.polygon.com/platform/amp/2016/12/2/13820024/full-throttle-remastered-first-look-trailer-double-fine-lucasarts Same trailer there and some additional info.
  23. General Video Game Deals Thread

Yeah that was weird, America got like 2-3 times more on sale in Nintendo's eshops than Europe. I had nothing to get there since I already own everything I was interested in.
  24. Beyond Good and Evil 2

I really hope the game doesn't end up being some sandbox game with a giant world size. I just don't feel like paying to play such games when I don't have time. The first game was almost perfect even if the story ended a bit too quickly.
  25. Miitomo

I noticed that I still didn't uninstall it. It is really fun with the new additions that they made. For a few minutes per day it brings a lot of joy.
