Official Giant Bomb Thread Mostly for Complaining About Dan
Delerat replied to tegan's topic in Idle Banter
The thing about those systems is that they're fairly separate from everything else in the world. Even populating GTA, while an impressive feat, especially with how good everything looks, they have fairly basic AI and don't need to exist outside of a certain range of the player. They also don't need to have any interactions past collisions, frightened reactions, and dying. I think the problems Bethesda is running into should definitely be fixed, the big bugs anyways. Game-breaking stuff isn't acceptable. The common jank though, is too risky to deal with.- 1367 replies

So stormtroopers are basically spartans now. Are we going to see some Halo crossover? Maybe he'll end up being force sensitive and that somehow makes him different? or it's a very low defection rate, and not a 0% defection rate, so he's a part of the 1% I guess.

Ouran Boast Club - Planning an Anime Podcast

Maybe it's time to start marketing -
I actually rewatched FMA last year, the first time since it aired. It held up really well, although I wasn't as fond of the ending this time around. I remember most people didn't like the divergence from the manga at the end, but back in the day I was totally cool with it. Still need to watch Brotherhood though. As for the Ghibli stuff, Whisper of the Heart is my top, in my top three favourite movies ever, anime or non-anime. I would rather stare at a wall than watch Howl's Moving Castle. The animation is good, but only okay by Ghibli standards. The writing, both plot and dialogue, are garbage. I've found it to be a pretty common favorite among girls though.

Yeah, I'll read it over and give feedback.

Yes, but that's just because Chris has always been a robot.

I'll repost here. I have 2 Monday badges I'm selling at cost $40 USD if anyone is interested.

Is anyone interested in buying 1 or 2 Monday badges at cost? $40 USD each? I had a buyer back out.
-
That's a really neat idea! I'll be interested in checking it out.

I actually liked SuckerPunch as a B... maybe C movie. I don't know if you guys have seen the Mega 64's DBZ: Frieza Saga in 5 minutes video, but it's great. I love the intentionally bad low budget special effects.

There are a lot of characters, but none of them seem like people. I found it really hard to follow. Like I'm not sure why anyone is doing anything they're doing, and what/if there are consequences for anything. It just seems like... things happen.

Ugh, I forgot that the RSVP was today. I doubt much of the waitlist will get in. Bleh- 1367 replies

Decided to drop Kekkai Sensen. I'm not sure that show actually has characters and a story >_> On the positive side, I picked up Ore Monogatari and am really enjoying it. That show is so full of happy and goodness, my god!

There's also the "good father" trend with black characters you see a lot in anime that totally fits with Picollo. He's an excellent father to Gohan, and seems more attentive to him than Goku, taking care of him while Daddy is away at work.

Awesome! That's my friend Geoff's channel! He quit his games journalism job to go full time into doing his own thing and obviously it's growing. He does some really incredible break downs.
