The problem is the reference to 5 (fun) guys and then the -gate 'joke.' I honestly couldn't care less if Nintendo says it's not a goober reference. It's two very unfunny jokes that when put together, look very bad. So much so that the KiA subreddit gleefully accepted it as a goober reference until Zoë tweeted about it and they began denying it, and that she was being offended over nothing. I think it's entirely possible that a localizer did this and thought it was funny and then denied that it was intentional when their feet were put to the fire/weren't even asked by Nintendo if it was on purpose. -
If there's anyone else in NA who has or/as or x/y and didn't get a mew from the email or from gamestop earlier this year, plz pm me. edit: claimed!

Steam decided to stick to the letter of their roster lock law I guess and said no to EG despite it being 4/5 the TI 5 winners. I guess I admire their adherence to what I think is a really bad rule?

Windows 10 does let you roll back to your previous version if you do it less than a month after upgrading http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/windows-10-recovery-options I'm with Clyde here. I really like windows 10 and it's been a pretty great user experience for me. -

I have a Pusheen box subscription, because i love things and i love fat cats. It's only quarterly though. I've gotten 2 so far, and they've been totally charming and delightful I don't understand the lootcrate style ones, because they pull from such a wide variety of media that you are guaranteed to have a bunch of things from shows that you don't even like. Monthly is too frequent imo, and too unpredictable. There are subscription boxes that I understand, like Pusheen or the Haunted Mansion one or the Tsum Tsum one, because they're highly directed. Or the Barkbox (monthly dog toys and treats) because those things get destroyed/eaten/used. -

I do think that fast food is a pretty uniquely American invention in that it's mass produced, mostly pre-prepared & essentially only reheated & assembled by restaurant workers. That's the only way it can be made fast enough to be sold via drive thru. Obviously those places now exist elsewhere. I think other places have things like street food that fill the space that fast food occupies for the majority of America. -

I'm with Badfinger on this one. Chicken satay is not fast food. Looks delicious though I think your establishment needs to have a drive thru to count as fast food. -

Updated thread title for this year, since I assume there will be more than just my beloved Aui being betrayed for the second time. I think it is technically only twice Jutranjo. He got kicked post TI and now again post Manila. It seems much more amicable this time just from a first blush, in that the team announced it rather than Aui being sad (in a rare show of emotion) on twitter. It still bums me out tho.

Median rent in Minneapolis looks like it's $800 for a 1 br. If you make $2400 gross each month that would be a third to housing which is about what most define as 'affordable' (most say no more than 30%). 2400/4=600/40=15 (4 weeks per month, 40 hours per week gives you 15/hr)

Cordeos can speak on this more than I can, as this is one of the main goals of his party in Minneapolis/St. Paul/Minnesota in general. $12 is closer to a liveable wage, but still isn't really, especially in urban cities where cost of living is high(er). There are groups angling to go for $10 or $12 explicitly to undercut the push/enthusiasm for $15 under the guise of 'compromise.' They're trying to slow down the push for $15 by giving people a worse version of it and saying you should be happy with what you got.

They roster locked with aui/sumail/peter/fear/bulba, and with universe coming back the letter of the valve rules mandates it. if they had swapped bulba for zai, they would have been okay since he's their sub and his team didn't participate in any valve events. the roster lock rules are incredibly poorly designed and i think have not contributed positively to stability of teams.

Looks like another big one boys. This time all this stuff is forcing these teams to go through the qualifiers instead of invites, given the roster lock rules.
