Hmm, I beleive they have blocked Twitch at work, so instead I will abuse my company phone's data plan. Edit: Hmm, embeded streams elsewhere seem to work fine. Edit2: Nice, used an HTML test page and pasted in the embed code from twitch and I can watch it there. Silly security team.

Do you have the newest GFWL client? http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/DownloadClient I had quite a few fights with this installing it for Dark Souls for a friend fairly recently if you'd like help troubleshooting. If you don't care I can certainly understand that too

I beat State of Decay on PC. It's a game with a lot of really good mechanics, that start to get a bit old and show their lack of depth toward the end. Thankfully, it wrapped up pretty quick before I got really bored. I'm looking forward to seeing how their multiplayer game turns out.

Cards are generally worth .05 to .10 a piece, depending on the number of cards in the set and how popular the game is. Rather than bothering with trading I usually try to sell 2 buy 1 for the games I really like.

Remind me where you link your Steam to Twitch? Edit: Nevermind, I'm already linked up. Click the little wrench next to your user name on Twitch, then go to the connections tab. I've always just sold the packs when they come in, but maybe I should open them next time. I don't seem to get them every often, despite having 50-ish eligible games on my list. I've been idling a few games every once in a while to clean up any un-claimed cars so I can sell them all at the start of the christmas sale for an extra few cents a card.

When I originally looked at these articles, they mentioned that a new Samsung bare-bones model on there that they hadn't had a chance to test yet. I decided to purchase it, and I've really loved it so far. Only 2 HDMI ports, no in-tv app garbage, just the best screen you can get for the price. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I4OBXWI/ Edit: Oh, and a really good response time for video games.

Yup, I've been running it since Rajas came out. Regardless, the save is only every 6 months now, so that's managable. In other news, religious authority sucks. I've got all five of my holy sites, so my default authority is 70. I had it up as far as 95 due to temple building and leader converting, but those are temporary modifiers. Now that I've converted everyone and built all the temples, my authority is slowly decreasing as those modifiers go away. At this point there isn't much I can do besides hope I guess.

Yeah, I love Giant Bomb, but it still hasn't been quite the same without him. It's missing a certain playfulness and joy. Reading Patrick's short blog post and watching a couple of the videos has me kinda broken up a little. I really need to get that signed GB poster framed, I only wish it had his signature.

I gave up on the cloud because it took so long to save and the saves happened once a month. I haven't had any issues with local ironman.

No, it transfers over to India. The option to form it is available, and I have all of the counties necessary to do it, but I didn't meet a couple of the other requirements. I'll keep that in mind and see if I can swing it shortly after converting over. India does have some accepted cultures on its own though, just not enough to cover the wide range of cultures that I conquered during the last 30 year land rush.

Obviously, when you pick powers is going to impact what you have the option to do. If it makes you feel any better, I died completely in that boss fight. The earlier tip to use the end of your turn to get away behind cover is pretty much the best tip.

Conversion went well, but I then realized that the complete lack of religeous and cultural unity in India would make it a nightmare to play in EU4, so I decided to go back to CK2 to finish off the last 50 years and try to bring things under control. Besides the obvious step of using your religion counselor to try and convert counties (which seems to work so-so at best) is there anything else I can do in CK2 to help get things a little more unified, especially culturally?

In fact there is an effort to consider DOTA2 a real sport, as it will make the process of getting Visas for competitors much easier. For better or worse, it seems to be a goal that a lot of organizations are chasing right now.
