Why can't some of these hacker types be on the other side of this argument and start hacking the hackers?

I've played Silent Hill 1, 2, and 4. I don't remember 1 at all, and only remember the annoying bits of 2, but I have a fairly clear memory of 4 and I really enjoyed it. I know a lot of people hated it, but the transformation for your room from a place of refuge at the start of the game to a place that you dread returning too really had an effect on me. It also benefitted from me having played it in the Youtube era, where I could look up the different endings when I got one that I wasn't a fan of, which is what put me off 2 back in the day.

Nice, I was at the DF party at the hard rock last year and had a blast.

Maybe I'm paranoid, or just fatalistic, but who really believes there's anything left of journalism ethics? You can't tell me you watch the 6 o'clock news and believe that none of that is influenced by the TV channel, cable provider, and their sponsors. By popular journalism's nature it's a system designed to present things in the most extreme light in order to get more clicks/views/subscribers/ratings. Also, they really are watching you, you have no privacy left, but, if they were out to get you, you'd already be in jail.

DLC alone is $17.50 for the season pass (down from $25) and $8 for the individual map packs. I decided to buy the season pass with hopes that'll get me to play some more.

I have had that happen a couple of times in the past, no so much anymore as my sex drive has cooled some.

Generally, I think about the hassle of trying to convince or otherwise override their choice and then decide it's not worth it and just go along with them.

I remember getting most of the way through SH2, and finding out that I didn't stick close enough to Maria for most of the game and was doomed to a bad ending. So dissapointing. -

Ah, now it makes a little more sense why they'd make such a mess out of his firing, that stock is probably worth a lot more than the 95k settlement he got. Also, this quote is the best Well, maybe think a little harder before firing one of the founding members of the company. -
Keep in mind that's rules for a handgun. I could walk into Walmart right now and buy a hunting rifle or a shotgun.

After the hassle we went through finding this current place, I was considering asking for a multi-year contract. If a year comes around and they don't raise our rent substantially, I might still do so. A lot of places love having that sort of contract reliability, others like raising their rent as often as possible.

Interesting, here in Seattle most of the laws are pretty uniform over all of King County, with some additional special rules inside Seattle city limits. Things get a little more spotty as you get away from population centers, but you can usually count on each county being fairly consistent within itself at least.

Hmm, have they announced who's casting it yet?
-
I guess it could have been worse, they could have resurrected the name to launch their new digital distribution platform like a certain other company I know of.

Maybe I just don't understand the difference myself then. I was just recently informed that stacking Intellegence on a support like Crystal Maiden doesn't do anything because magic damage doesn't scale with stats, but I don't really know why.
-
Except magic damage doesn't scale with stats, and physical damage does, right?

I imagine that DICE doesn't have much of a say in anything at this point. Do you really think there's any room for artistic expression left in EA?

I had that lego set, well I still have it I guess, missing some parts I'm sure.

I'd rather start with a smart car and work my way up. That's the fun of it.

This entire clip was put up as a youtube post-roll commercial. It's incredible.

The was more about the real money purchasable visual items, most famously the monocle.

I've done something similar before for a few different games, and I usually find that I lose motivation to write, which then kinda ruins the game for me.

Munster is an easy start because your enemies are fairly limited and mostly your size, especially with England starting pretty busy in the Stamford bridge start. There are many places that offer varying levels of challenge. Most different would probably be a Muslim empire, but I personally don't like playing them very much so I don't have a specific one to recommend. I agree with Cordeos though, I rarely finish a game. At most, I get to the point that I've gotten bigger than the empire that's been a pain in the butt for the last couple centuries, break them, then usually call it good. Even in my India game that I wanted to finish and export to EU4, I fast-forwarded through the last 100 years or so just doing basic maintenance tasks and trying to achieve religious unity.

Flight Simulators or: I bought this flight stick, and darn it, I'm going to use it!
Dewar replied to prettyunsmart's topic in Video Gaming
X3:Reunion is the original third game in the X series. X3:Terran conflict is a newer stand-alone game built on the same engine X3:Albion Prelude is an expansion to Terran Conflict made to build hype for X:Rebirth X:Rebith is their newest release from the end of 2013, and it launched a total mess. Word is it's a bit better now, but I haven't personally tried it.- 20 replies
