Dalixam Posted September 23, 2004 I hope you guys can help me. I'm trying to play the good old game Re-Volt with a friend over the net, but our firewalls block it. I don't know much about networks, but a friend told me to find out what port the game is using so that port can be opened on the router, or something. Anyway, anyone know how I can figure out what port it's using? It's not in the readme file and the officiel site and all fan sites seems to be long dead. manny_c44 Posted September 23, 2004 See what company made your router and then go their site. Go to Troubleshooting or Faqs section and search it up itsnot very difficult...if your using a D-Link router, their instructions are very easy to follow.
Huz Posted September 23, 2004 From my brief Google shenanagins, it looks like Re-Volt, of which I have never heard (sorry), uses DirectPlay - in which case you'll have to open shitloads of ports. And shit. Microsoft knows all
ysbreker Posted September 23, 2004 I seriously this game is one of the greatest racing games out there. I wonder how multiplayer with this game is.
