Lost Planet is 5$ on Steam. Is it worth it?

Recommended Posts

I've got a lot on my plate now, but 5$ does seems like a sweet deal!

Even though I probably won't play it for quite a while... :erm:

Dang, Steam keeps making these crazy deals! Do they only do it on weekends, or do we have to check daily to make sure we don't miss anything?

No.

Well... $5 isn't that much. So you could try it. But it's quite a bad game.

Underrated game I'd say. Great old-school sensibilities and some interesting touches. Try the demo first, it's pretty divisive.

I'm getting this deal, I'll trade it in on 360 and probably get the same amount back.

are you saying this might be a [thread=6223]video-game I originally hated, but ended up loving [/thread]?

I tried the 360 one and it was.. "meh"... It didn't impress me or annoy me...:hmph:

Well, I suppose it all then depends on how significant a figure you feel $5 is.

This finished downloading earlier and I played the Prologue and Mission One. I never got very far in the 360 version and I always meant to play more of it, but I can see myself ploughing through this in a couple of weeks. Once you get the mouse sensitivity at its highest it works really well with the PC setup and obviously runs far smoother than the other versions. I was much more aware of my surroundings and had a far more enjoyable experience because of that.
