Chris Posted February 25, 2009 You may recall that a couple months ago we held a contest to make up Ultra Boost flavors and, in one case, create a Thumbs-themed LittleBigPlanet level. Despite many delays, I did indeed sent out all 45 (or so) games, and some recipients sent over notes and pictures showcasing their hauls. I figured I'd post those here for the forum to admire. Anyone else who was one of the lucky winners can feel free to post their own evidence. Today I discovered that the fine folks from http://listofdomainnamespointingtoidlethumbsdotnet.info/ had cast a pod into my mailbox. Cue crappy laptop camera picture: This is my grab-bag reward for taking a few minutes to email silly phrases to them. I have to say, for a box o' random crap this is pretty cool. Thanks RemoBreckonRodkin! BTW as happens with this sort of thing, I do already have one of these games. Can you guess which one? No you cannot: the one that I already have is the PC version of Shadowrun. If anyone would like me to pass that one along, first response that says they want it can have it for free. Otherwise I'll try to hang onto it for a year to send in the next WE... Adam W included a picture of the limited edition, exclusive Chris Remo business card included with every shipment. Wow. You guys weren't kidding when you said you had a pile of games to give away. I was not expecting you to send as many games as you did! I actually already have Left 4 Dead but the Namco Museum Collection looks awesome. I wish more companies would do arcade collections like that. I got the Genesis Collection a week ago and its pretty solid but I wish it had Strider, Gunstar Heroes and Toe Jam & Earl. Maybe then they could justify that ridiculous name they gave it. Quantum of Solace looks alright from what I have seen of it so I will probably try it out since its been quite a while since I've played a Bond game. Not too sure about LOTR:Conquest though. It appears to be Battlefront but not as fun from what I have seen/read/heard? Never the less, thanks for the free stuff. I really appreciate it. I didn't mind the delay as I am sure you were looking for Hot Scoops! galore during that time. Also that is one snazzy business card you have there Chris. Extreme Journalist? Hahaha. Thanks, -Adam Surely this post will invite critical comparisons between the value of the various stacks of games. I tried to do my best to roughly balance them in terms of offsetting some of the lamer games with better games -- of course, that's all based on my own game preferences, so results may vary. Radjago Posted February 27, 2009 WHY IS IT MIRRORED?! It's obvious to me from the reflections on the spines of those games that this image was taken with Photo Booth on an Apple-branded laptop with integrated iSight.
