toblix Posted September 5, 2007 The Wii in 480i on a big screen? Pretty fucking terrible. And it's not like my TV has two component inputs. And also, trying out RE4, the controller suddenly started acting up. The nunchuck seemed to get stuck on down, pointing me at the floor, making aiming hard, and suddenly the controller just turned itself off. I mean what the fuuck? toblix Posted September 5, 2007 That's what I thought. Turns out they were just recently changed.
SiN Posted September 5, 2007 The nunchuck seemed to get stuck on down, pointing me at the floor, making aiming hard, and suddenly the controller just turned itself off. I don't know about the wiimote, but the nunchuck would do that if the calibration was off. That is, if you turn on the wii (or controller I guess) with the analog stick not being in it's "neutral" position. SiN
JoannaDark Posted September 6, 2007 i dunno, big wii is good wii. our computer science department just put one up in their lab attached to the massive projector screen they have and it is teh shit, if you will. and also handily gets around the problem of wiimote-embedded tvs! har har
toblix Posted September 6, 2007 I looked at some comparison shots of 480i and 480p and there's quite a difference.
