miffy495 Posted July 29, 2007 Hey, if they can work it out so I can pose characters without their arms twisting around 20 times and looking like an overstretched rubber band, I'm in.
Wrestlevania Posted July 30, 2007 So, does anyone know if there are any problems with playing region free Xbox 360 games? I'm thinking about buying Crackdown from DVD Box Office, as it's almost half the price, but will I get all the updates and downloadable stuff? Apparently not, which is kind of the point with "region free" - there's never more than one type of disc to validate against. My colleague imported a dirt-cheap copy of Crackdown from Hong Kong and it played fine on his PAL (UK) Xbox 360.
twmac Posted August 7, 2007 Same here, I have a hong Kong version of Crackdown (all in English) and it works fine on my North American console. The art work on the frontis hilarious. I put the game down after playing through it once, it was fun. But I just don't like these types of games enough to justify finding everything in it. One of friends, however, comes round and plays it very often and loves it dearly. In a year that has had so surprising moments of gaming fun. Earth Defense Force 2017 is currently sitting in the number one spot.
n0wak Posted August 8, 2007 I just found my 500th Agility Orb! Yeah. I like this game. Me and a bud spent like 20 minutes trying to get to a hidden orb on a bridge over Live a few days ago. It sounds dull but, I don't know, the appeal of it is hard to describe. Kind of reminds me of grade school and walking around the woods with friends looking for hidden stashes of porn. Were you tipped off, or was this just like Spiderman and his crime sensing abilities... ...except with porn.
Aussie Ben Posted August 8, 2007 Congratulations on finding all the Agility Orbs! That really is an achievement - even WITH the update that makes the noise occur in a larger radius with the fewer there are. Out of curiosity, how many Hidden Orbs have you got? miffy495 Posted August 8, 2007 Dammit, I have 493 agility orbs, and the last 7 are driving me crazy. Only have about 175 hidden though. Does the game do anything special once you've tracked them all down?
Wrestlevania Posted August 8, 2007 Ye gads - congrats, n0wac! I'm approaching (or maybe have just broken) the 400 mark on agility orbs, and broke the 150 mark in hidden orbs some while back, but they're already becoming much trickier to locate. I'm generally not worrying about hunting them down explicitly, but keep an eye out for any incidental discoveries during co-op (which only adds to the fun). Has anyone heard details from the sequel yet? I'm already looking forward to it.

I didn't even hear that orb. I was doing some stunts in Los Muertos and was exploring that area because I figured I've been on EVERY rooftop and the only place a single orb could possibly be would be low to the ground in the early part of the game. And, yup, caught something in the corner of my eye and there it was... an orb. A level one agility orb. As for hidden orbs, about 275 Does the game do anything special once you've tracked them all down? You get an achievement. That is all.
