Tanukitsune Posted March 24, 2006 Whoa! Hiring professional gamers to test their war combat simulations? I don't know if this is stupid or if I should be jealous...
Jayel Posted March 25, 2006 Korean people are evil and stupid. I know because I'm one of them. I don't know how most of them manage to breathe while they sleep. on topic: why not hire real pilots to test simulations? idiots.

n0wak Posted March 25, 2006 Soon they'll be promoting StarCraft players to General. Considering how many StarCraft players there are in Korea, that wouldn't be a surprise.
Roderick Posted March 25, 2006 That's only good, that way they won't see us coming because they're expecting an advance of purple Creep first. Because, you know, we couldn't survive without it.
Karimi Posted March 25, 2006 Starcraft is their national sport, along with dog chasing and dog eating contests. They also talk japanese, fight upside down and are all ninjas by night. As a side note they all have spiky hair too...
Jayel Posted March 25, 2006 My brother in law seems nice enough.... Should I not trust him? There are always exceptions, but I wouldn't trust him outright. Having lived the latter half of my life in Canada, I don't have a lot of first-hand experience of idiocies of Korean government and Korean society, but I heard a lot of horror stories from my dad. We are an extremely volatile people whose psyche is composed of 1/3 selfishness, 1/3 peer pressure, 1/3 stupidity and 0.00001% goodwill. One of these days I'm gonna create an entire thread dedicated to the subject...
n0wak Posted March 28, 2006 Weird. My dad also rants about the stupidity of Korean government and society. Mainly the former's corruption and the latter's inability to think and behave like a true democracy. Also their belief in superstitions. One thing I've come to realize over the past few years is that we are an extremely obsessive, fanatically-minded race. I wonder if this isn't largely the result of the Korean War, but yeah, there's something seriously wrong the people. Now that I think about it, Germans, Russians, and Koreans all seem to have relatively harsh cultures.... You forgot Poles. They're having their own troubles with the workings of democracy and with religious conservatism.
