GammaBit Posted November 21, 2016 Hi everyone, I'm developing a game around Idle Thumb's "Pizza Tonight" episode. I have an idea for a dynamic story telling engine but since I'm not short on time, I'm going to make a kid's game. So far I've got the engine running - but it's occasionally a little eccentric... "Pizza Tonight" is the story of a child connecting with his Grandmother through the art of pizza making. Bonus diversifiers: Ludo-Narrative Dissonance. nkornek Posted November 24, 2016 Really looking forward to seeing how the ludonarrative dissonance factors in!
GammaBit Posted November 29, 2016 Update: Haven't had too much time to play around with this - just been doing general aesthetic improvements. I've also added music as well as a way to see how your choices stack up against the community (similar to Tell Tale games).
GammaBit Posted December 2, 2016 I've been busy working on the story - things are really coming together! Writing for a kid's game is interesting - I'm having to pull some tricks to keep the narrative running.
