Is Steve aware of this? Hot Cyber Scoops should be informed if he's not.

Technically Space Asshole was Red Faction: Guerrilla, not Red Faction II, but we can overlook that. Welcome!

I have 2 Steam coupons for 25% off of Broken Age if anyone wants.

I already own a bunch of these as well but that is a very solid lineup.

Bioshock Finite: Irrational Games shuts down
SecretAsianMan replied to gregbrown's topic in Video Gaming
I have nothing constructive to add, but I spotted a headline that made me shudder. Ken Levine Closes the Booker on Irrational Games I get that gaming news sites like making dumb pun headlines but... ugh. -
The discount comes at the cost of your soul.

Idle Thumbs 145: Rich Uncle, Cool Uncle
SecretAsianMan replied to Chris's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
There's a game called Fives on Android that's similar to Threes. It's fairly blatant clone but until the official Android port is done (which is supposedly in the works), it's the closest I've found. -
That was excellent.

Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)
SecretAsianMan replied to Irishjohn's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Beat Yama for the first time on a daily. More than a few close calls, especially because of how few bombs I had. I lost my shotgun fighting Olmec and couldn't get the amulet in Hell, but I managed to defeat a shopkeeper and take his shotgun thanks to the 30+ health I had. -
Hey guys! I was wondering If you guys have received your KS Rewards, I can't find mine!
SecretAsianMan replied to CrosswalkNorway's topic in Idle Banter
I am admittedly laying on a guilt trip here. And I do feel Idle Thumbs has given me more than I've given them. That said, I still want my goods. The customer is always an asshole. In this case that asshole is me.- 141 replies

I don't know the notoriety of this puzzle, but you are overlooking something. The solution is simpler than what you are attempting, although perhaps less intuitive from an adventure game perspective.

Bringing this up yet again. At this point, the Thumbs have received more crowdfunded goods than I have... Maybe they need to hire subbes as a project manager.- 141 replies

Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

Well I totally wasted a nice seed. Early shotgun, easy eye and damsel placements, only to fail at climbing vines in the jungle. -
Valve implemented downvoting so it probably won't work anymore http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/2/558747922194202319/

Loadout: Am I the only one seeing this? [NSFW]
SecretAsianMan replied to prettyunsmart's topic in Video Gaming
I've been told by several people that I should play Loadout because of how much I love TF2 and "if you love TF2 you should love this game". But honestly, I feel the same way you do. The gameplay might be fun but the aesthetics turn me off so much I don't want to get near it. -
How about the theme from Pacific Rim?
-
I should clarify that I mean mechs designed for combat. For traversing space and manipulating equipment designed for humans, a human shaped robot makes sense. But as a thing designed kill, there are better forms than a big person shaped mech.
-
Well then I'm just winking at myself.
-
I watched Giantbomb play it a bit, and I have to say I'm having the opposite reaction that many of you seem to have. My interest in it has cooled somewhat. It does look like fun, but I don't think it looks significantly more fun than any other game of this type. And I think humanoid shaped mechs are ridiculous regardless of whether or not they have hands.
