    That's true soryr. ):
  2. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

This opinion is unpopular? I'm fairly certain it's the other way around. I only ever here derision regarding Twin Snakes, which is weird, 'cause it's a fine game.
  3. E3 2015

I know, I'm just kidding. I love Ratchet and Clank. Woo! This is... cool for you? But to be dismissive of an entire platform because you'd rather buy on PC seems really reductive. There are a ton of people who don't have a powerful PC or just prefer to play on consoles. I mean, I'd rather buy on PC, too, but that doesn't stop me from seeing why consoles are attractive, and it certainly doesn't stop me from owning a console. If the only purpose of consoles was exclusives, consoles would've died out long ago. You people put way too much stock in exclusives. I'd much rather zero exclusives exist. It's so weird to see people clamoring for more, like they're not a bad thing...
  4. E3 2015

Everything's been "shit" for exclusive games, but I'm not really sure why people only judge the merit of a console by its exclusives. Also if you ever be dismissive of Ratchet in my presence again, words will be had.
  5. No Man's Sky

If there was chatter, it was definitely ill-informed. First trailer: Ammo in the upper right corner! Oh, and it even has ship combat in this trailer, although the player never actually shoots at another ship, you just see it. He does shoot at an asteroid, though!
  6. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

Oh, fair enough. My complaint was less "people are being negative" and more "people are being stupid", though, haha.

I'm not letting Sony "get away" with anything, and I don't think anyone else is, either. It's just that they actually seem to care about Video Games, while Microsoft just comes off as Give Us Money Please, year after year. A lot of it is purely marketing schlock, but Sony's been ahead of the game for a while now when it comes to allowing and marketing crazy weird shit on their platform. Like what the fuck even is Dreams? Who knows but it looks fuckin' cool. (Also it's exclusive.) Horizon does look fucking great. Like a Monster Hunter that controls well. I'm interested in this Video Game. I'm still not seeing what makes FO4 so impressive, but then I have historically been put off by their games entirely (though I did install FO3 to give it a shot, finally, after that press conference - the intro is really, really boring).
  8. Cartoons!

I'm catching up on Steven Universe and let me tell you I could've done without this Uncle Grandpa bullshit...
  9. E3 2015

    Well then.
  10. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

None of those "negatives" are actual negatives, though, besides the Star Fox thing, which eh, Star Fox has never been good, so whatever, also that's the first Star Fox that at least LOOKS fun.

I don't want to start a huge debate or anything, but... what? Why? It just looks like the logical next iteration of the Bethesda Open World Game. Also I don't think Recon is open-world. I think it's large-sandbox-levels. I have no interest in the game, though, so I didn't bother to look into whether or not that impression is correct. Also if I hadn't already bought a PS4 for Bloodborne, Sony's conference would've made me go out and buy one day of. That was such a good conf. Xbone continues to be that thing with three exclusives while everything that Really Matters is also coming to PC.
  12. No Man's Sky

There's been ammo in the HUD since the game's first reveal, and there's been battling ships since, I think, the second trailer? So yes there is combat.
  13. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

And online. It has online. Right? It has to. Anyway it looks great, one less player or no. It's frustrating to see so much vitriol directed at Nintendo this year. I think people are forgetting the time of Ravi Drums and Wii Music. It's okay for Nintendo to not announce a huge "metagon", because at least they still have some stuff. And! They have their whole Nintendo Direct thing going on year round. This is by no means the only time to announce or show off some cool shit. Ugh.
  14. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

First time playing the game? No way. It definitely took me more than 6 hours to beat the game the first time I played it.
  15. No Man's Sky

Still looks so fantastic, though! I can't wait.
  16. Oh yeah I throw the word bro around like it means nothing. Because it does mean nothing. Early GB just had a lot of focus on the mainstream video game bullshit that I had no interest in then (although ironically maybe have more interest in now, since I've invested in a non-Nintendo console for the first time in years - but then again consoles are much more about experimentation and whatnot than ever before, so, what was I talking about again???).
  17. It's Shawn, not Sean! (Sean Molloy is correct, though.) If you got that group together today... well, they've done it from time to time at PAX and whatnot, and ugh it's beautiful. Every time. )': I would pay a subscription for a monthly podcast from those guys. D:
  18. Actually that was the only good part of early GB! The Brodeo was a joke name and was definitely not brotastic in the way GB was (is?). I mean Ryan Scott and Jeff Green are about as far away as you can get from the Bro Gamer Archetype.

  20. Unless there's some weird event going on, none if the modes have changed...
  21. DOTA 2

Yeah I played free-for-all and 3v3v3 and the latter is definitely the good mode. I like that they offer it all, though, since it is just team deathmatch, might as well offer different team sizes. Also I have an idea for a custom map that I might try and get working sometime this weekend. And by that I mean I'll make a map in Hammer and then look at what I'd need to do for the scripting and probably not do it.
