  1. ...I have no idea how old I was when I started reading the books. I do know that at the time I read a LOT of books, and while I enjoyed Harry Potter, it's never been a Moment in my Life that I took note of.
  2. Recommend a solution for my gaming setup

You don't need to create steam shortcuts, you can just minimize steam and use your computer like normal. Even supports multiple monitors, just mouse to the edge of the screen in the direction of another monitor and the display will change. I have problems with games that have initial config windows (lots of Unity games...) as there's no cursor... Or ones that are fullscreen but let you move the mouse outside of the screen, etc. But otherwise the Steam Link is great. Like Dewar, I've heard wireless is acceptable for most games. I just run a wire to my router, though.

  6. Idle Fiction Jam - Rumours and Hearsay

I think these sorts of things are most interesting when everyone has the same prompt... so you can see what everyone's take on Poopwater, New Mexico is, for example.
  7. Well this is kind of amazing. O:

I'd agree with Dewar. It's definitely not disappointing at all, but it does end on a downer. It's great. To be honest, while I generally prefer sci-fi to fantasy, I thikn the fantasy campaign was much much more interesting. Although I only JUST got to the part where they switched systems back to the Sprawl, so maybe that will help steer it in a better direction. It's also worth noting that it's absolutely not a typical fantasy romp. At all. Listen to it. Now. Or DIEEEEE.
  9. they are for sure both great the water one ain't too shabby either but not so much a fan of the nose unless its final evolution is a giant-ass clown seal...

  13. nah man chespin is adorable the only grass starter i don't like is chikorita but that whole gen sucked anyway
  14. [RELEASE] Dot Gobbler

this is horrifying i love it
  15. Wow once again the grass starter is the best starter. I wonder if they'll ever break this trend.
  16. You have no idea how bummed I was to see TF2 in the list and then how relieved and happy I was that for once it wasn't about the hat economy or Jake's disappointment with the current state of the game. It IS still a good game! I even like it more now than ever. The only thing keeping me from playing it the way I used to is that I have no good server community to play with. ):
  17. What was the uh URL for the Thumbs flower thingy!

I'm not sure why you're surprised given the chick in the yellow!
  20. Nintendo 3DS

Hmm, I got a New 3DS, transferred my stuff over, and when I went to run Animal Crossing, it said there wasn't enough room to get the save file... And then when I started the game there was no data. Is that file gone forever?

  22. I've had a looooot of fun just helping people beat bosses in Bloodborne after I beat them myself. It's a good time. I personally try to avoid co-op when beating a boss just because I enjoy the challenge, but I loved helping people afterward. That said I did need help the first time I fought Artorias in Dark Souls 1. (The second time he was such a joke I wondered why I needed help the first time!) I'm not a big fan of PvP, though, personally. Although I have enjoyed helping fend off invaders to other people's worlds when trying to help them.
  23. I mean I like it when it's there, but it just increases the cost of a console for very little gain. Most people who are looking to buy a console don't do it with the explicit desire for backward compatibility. Note I say MOST!!!
  24. Lots of the rumors (and facts in the form of patents!) suggest that it's very very possible the NX might be both the console AND the handheld, through various methods. Most notably the idea of a supplemental computing device. You can read a good summary here: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2015/12/intriguing_nintendo_patent_points_to_supplemental_computing_device_and_cloud_resources_for_a_gaming_system Basically, using this method it would be possible to purchase an NX "handheld" and then attach it to an NX "console" SCD, so that it has more power to play on your TV. This idea is full-on crazytown and so completely not like Nintendo but also like Nintendo that I want it to be real. Even if it could play Wii U games, there's no guarantee it could play Wii games. It'd have to include both chips. It's unlikely it'll include either. Backwards compatibility is (right, imo) going the way of the dodo.
