The Walking Dead also very easily lends itself to creating new characters, though. Even for all its focus on character interaction, it's only about a very small number of people. Go five miles west and suddenly the stories are completely different. A Song of Ice and Fire's characters and stories are literally spread all across the world. We're already covering five miles west and east and north and south and etc. Also, the characters are almost all important to the events happening in the world, unlike in The Walking Dead, where the characters are only important to what's happening to those characters. I'm not saying it can't be done, but hopefully you see what I'm getting at.

Anyway this game looks goddamn amazing and I can't wait.

Yeah I'm pretty excited about Mew-Genics. Also what they've released of the soundtrack so far is fantastic. OH MAN.

When I first saw this rumor I was sorta wary, but then I remembered Telltale does their own original stories within the world they license, so I got way way super egregiously excited. So if this is real I guess this is basically what replaced King's Quest, right? Eh? Huh, huh, yeah? Also if this is real, I'm really curious to see what kind of story they'll tell. I don't really want them to follow the story of any already-established character. MAYBE in prequel form, but I dunno. But also that's pretty much what Game of Thrones is about - the characters. If they license this property and then don't do anything that involves a good number of established characters, it's kinda pointless. But then again maybe not. Maybe it'll be a story about how the King-Beyond-the-Wall came to be. .......Oh I really like that idea. Let's do that.

I also don't really like how it looks.

Hey if you guys could find a nice solid community server to hang out on all the time that'd be GREAT. I really miss having that. ):

Yeah the Galaxy hub was totally lame by comparison. In fact it's probably my least favorite hub/map out of all the Mario games. There was nothing to do!
-
You would eventually if you just kept at it. OR SO I'M TOLD.

Nuts & Bolts is literally the only game that makes me regret selling my 360.
-
Uh is that really true 'cause every time I try to kick something with my left leg it goes flying in awkward directions.
-
is that a real question
-
haha well okay then

I'd say Jimmy Corrigan is pretty unconventional. Does a lot if Playing with the Format, and such. Though maybe you meant compared to Building Stories which I've never read or heard of sooooo. Anyway Jimmy Corrigan is great.

We all have our limits, man. It's okay. -
Except for when they do, of course!

I just watched the last four episodes and what the fuck it was pretty good? The two episodes before these were AWFUL gross and I wanted to quit, I almost DID, I probably would have if it hadn't been for The Beginning, or whatever those in-the-past episodes were called, being so great, but then well this shit was good? Hey it's all good. Everything's good. Great! Hunky dory. (Verrick was great, but the whole time I was worried about a specific thing happening with him and then it did and it sorta ruined things for me. I guess he managed to come back with a win, though, so that's good.)

To be honest I think that's a fair thing for Blizzard to say. It's also completely fair to have your attitude. Also to be honest that stuff never bothered me (even though gun to my head I'd say I dislike it greatly, on principle). What bothered me was everything they're claiming will be fixed with the expansion. Sooooo I guess that's a thing. -
It's disappointing, because I still believe motion controls can be really cool. Just not... when shoehorned into existing games for the fuck of it.
-
Oh see I misinterpreted what you were saying because you grouped it together with "old / cranky". No, that does make sense. Still not true for me, but at least makes sense.
-
While the latter is true, it has no bearing on the bolded. That's a really weird correlation to make.

GUH. Just seeing the name reminds me how much I fucking loved Mass Effect 1, all these memories rushing back out of nowhere (most of the best ones from the Citadel, OF COURSE, because it's the best). And I have yet to play 2 or 3. Jesus I loved Mass Effect 1. Maybe I'll finally play 2 soon. I own it! But what if I don't like it. That'd sure suck.

It's the end of a generation, and for all intents and purposes, everything remains the same. Nintendo is still weird. Microsoft and Sony still think they're relevant. PC gaming still reigns supreme.
