Hah. I mean it's not though. Every time a new Killzone comes out it's all anyone [who owns a Sony console] talks about. Which is amazing to me because NOBODY liked the first one, and yet the franchise somehow became this huge thing.

Haha, I dunno. I think he was definitely interested in Killzone, but I really don't understand why. It's never really clicked with me. It's a technical marvel for sure, but... not much more than that.

I grilled my friend about getting a PS4 and he said "I wanted Killzone", which seemed dubious, so I called him an idiot and then we watched Netflix on his PS4 for the rest of the night.

It's true that the story isn't the deepest one around, but haven't we already discussed that to death? The game is more than just the story.

I love Tom Chick's writings and I've always been (probably unnecessarily) defensive of his stuff when people complain about, for example, his dumb yearly Top Tens. But... I'll admit this article did make me a little uncomfortable. Which then made me sad. So there's that.

Yeah see I fucking love Super Mario Sunshine, but when I went back to play it again a couple years ago, the FLUDDless levels were complete garbage. FLUDD is what makes Super Mario Sunshine great. Take that away and you've got a Mario game that controls terribly and doesn't feel right.
