I got 13/15 so I'm better than all of you at this apparently bullshit test? I'm inclined to believe it's bullshit if only because it doesn't tell you what you got wrong. (Confession: I did look up the term "pluperfect" because I'd literally never heard it before, but I instantly knew what "past perfect" meant, so I didn't feel too bad.) It also reminds me that even though I know Well Grammar good enough, I don't really care anymore and mostly just write the worst fucking sentences when communicating... on forums for example. EDIT: Nice me and tberton are the best together. EDITIEDIT: SORRY I MEANT TBERTON AND I EEDIT^3: I picked literally all wrong answers - even on the few that I wasn't 100% sure about, I could identify one answer that was obviously wrong - and got 14/15. I think the trick is the website reads your mind to grade your grammar, and answering the questions is just the tunnel through which it reaches your brainspace. And since I didn't have to look up pluperfect the second time around, it knew I was better.

The foil sticker is the only thing keeping you from using it while in the box. Without the sticker, it would work in-box just fine. Or so I'm told. Mmm I hear from a not-insignificant number of people that high page counts in threads that have been around forever can be intimidating. Threads almost develop their own little sub-community, and breaking into it can be difficult. It's not so big a deal here since, though active, we're not extravagantly large in number, but on, say, GAF, I could certainly see why people would discourage necroing an ancient thread. (They also auto-lock old threads there, too, IIRC.)

I've never ever heard anyone use the term "twee" anywhere off the internet. But that's not what I meant by that statement at all. I meant "it's used a lot by people to mean a thing" and so "I want to know what those people mean, not what some dumb dictionary tells me" because dictionaries are by and large pretty fucking useless these days! Everyone's using words incorrectly all the time, so why bother with actual definitions. Mostly, though, it's more fun to ask questions and get answers than it is to just look everything up. You know, talking to people. It's cool sometimes.

I don't like using the word "problematic" and always try to think of what I'm actually saying, but then never figure it out, and end up not saying anything at all.

I do not. I want the internet definition, as that's who uses it! The definition as provided suffices. Oh man that's exactly what my association was for the longest time, which definitely didn't help assuage my confusion. I think I used "assuage" correctly, but suddenly I'm self-conscious. Did I just merus that word right up? (I like it because "merus" is sorta close to "mess" and they mean the same thing in the context I have set. :3)

Yeah if you throw the boxes away they'll eventually be separated in whatever process trashes them. Eventually. Plus then you don't have to look at these ugly boxes surrounding your cool little figure!
