I thought meninist was a joke until I realized it wasn't. That's pretty much my experience with a lot of things like this...

It wasn't the fact that it was explained. It was the... method of explanation? I dunno. I can't really put into words why I found it off-putting - it was just an in-the-moment emotional "ugh why am I listening to this" sort of thing. But it's fine. The show's still good!

I bet they didn't use any re-orchestrated music! They just recorded it all and decided it was inferior!

As a platforming expert... they never reach Meat Boy levels of challenge! But I do empathize. It's never a problem for me, because I'm good at platforming, but it's always dumb when they drop something like that in a game that's otherwise very much an at-your-own-pace type of experience.

I like science and I like Radiolab. ): Never much liked TAL. Gave it a shot two or three times, and dropped immediately. Invisibilia is pretty good, although the second episode* was... well it involved a woman going on at length about her fear of snakes and I dunno it was really offputting. The episodes since then have been much better, though. *Technically, I think that was the first episode. There was a preview episode on Radiolab which in my mind is always the first episode.

Oh, I don't particularly care about difficulty. Mario games aren't hard to me, and haven't been for many years. I don't even think it's about the feel of the movement. It's about the pure, ecstatic glee I experienced from the moment I first started playing Galaxy (and Galaxy 2), that 3D World didn't even approach.

Haha, well, I wasn't trying to go anywhere deep with my comment. I just thought it was funny that it's cleaner than it's ever been, just in time for a cleaner to come and polish it off for me. Of course, that's not to say that's not the state of mind I'm in. I keep putting off calling a psychiatrist to set up the first appointment because I don't even really know what to say. "I'm sad," I guess, should be enough, but I don't do it. Also I'm wondering if maybe I should've gone for a therapist instead. I dunno if psychiatrists are quick to medicate, or if they're more expensive, or what. Guess I could take some time today to research that. EDIT: Well, first thing I learned is that I had the definition of "therapist" wrong. Which is sorta embarrassing since my mom is one. Ahh but I'm so hungry! I didn't eat lunch when I normally would, 'cause I'm gonna leave and do that while the cleaner works!

Good thing I let my parents down super early in that regard! --- Today a cleaner is coming to clean my apartment (little less than two hours now!). Yeah, I'm lazy, and deplorable, whatever. Anyway, my apartment is now cleaner than it's been in months, just by virtue of organizing loose papers, etc. I am a monster.

Yeah I liked 3D World (when I played through the first few worlds with a friend), but it's no Galaxy. I don't think it's possible to top Galaxy without just making another Galaxy.

Well there you go.

I just got kicked off the server! I think it went down? Well, either way, I upgraded my ship and stuff that was fun. Hopefully it stuck. Dunno how frequently servers save.

I will now play this game.

Toe shoes look disgusting so I'll never wear them. Well I might for running. I found running barefoot (on a treadmill) much less painful than running shoes (on a treadmill or off). Anyway I have a pair of slip-ons (my blue shoes!) but I also like the way laces look so I'll never give them up. Like I said, I've sort of become obsessed with shoes.

Wow, I found the game pretty easy and I suck at character action games. U:

I'm embarrassingly too fat to properly bend over and tie my shoe. This is my life. This is real life. I've never been flexible, and my long legs would make it somewhat difficult, regardless (i'm fucking tall), but mostly it's the fat... But even so, after my last [ten or so] pair of shoes were ruined by the shove-in method, and after I bought some relatively expensive shoes (usually go for cheap shoes, probably forty or fifty at most, this time I bought two pairs, one for sixty (on clearance), one for over one hundred!!), I now actually bother to tie them. I like my new shoes, and I want them to last longer. Sooo! Also I'm thinking about buying more shoes. I have a blue pair, a dark grey/blue pair, and a sorta nature green pair. I need some brown shoes. Maybe some red shoes! Possibly black, but I dunno. I also need to buy some cleaning shit for my shoes. A friend of mine warned me that buying a good pair of shoes for the first time made him like obsessed with them, and now I sorta see why...

There were no bad parts of Remember Me. ):< There were less-than-stellar parts, but it was never a bad game.

Potatoes are literally the best food. They're good in all forms. U:

I loved the combat sections. They were like puzzles I had to solve. It was great. :3
