Anyone got a good cookbook recommendation? I'm tired of using my phone to look up recipes on websites that have shitty mobile designs. Preferably like "baby's first cookbook". I just typed "cookbook" without even realizing it's actually a word and yeah it is actually a word but man is it a bizarre looking word. Cookbook. COOKbook. CookBOOK? Cookie bookie!

Bridge sounds like the kind of game I would hate. But yes there are games that explicitly prohibit communication between teammates. I think those kinds of games are infinitely less interesting. At any rate, Splatoon is not one of them.

I would argue there is no such thing as a serious competitive game that isn't enhanced by actually being able to talk to your teammates. I would argue this vehemently and without ever backing down.

On PC where those games exist people party up and use Mumble or Skype or whatever. You can't do that on Wii U! I don't understand why that's confusing. Also, voice chat is always optional. Not like people who don't want it would be forced to use it.

I do admit that the side stories have always been more interesting. I actually loved the (original) Clone Wars cartoon. Though part of that might be my Genndy Tartakovsky love spilling over from Samurai Jack and Dexter's Lab.

Yeah and I mean once you actually get into the discussion of what makes Star Wars great for someone, it often comes to wha tyou're talking about. But it's just so tiring day in and day out expressing an unpopular opinion and getting lambasted. I have this reputation at work for "hating" everything, but really I express love for just as many things as I express "hate" (i.e., disinterest). It fucking infuriates me to no end. I'm willing to bet that I actually like more things than most people. I don't mean this to brag. It's just I'm tolerant of a lot of problems of which other aren't. But because I don't care for some of the most popular things, I become known as that guy who hates Star Wars. It's gotten to the point where I explicitly don't express opinions anymore. \: Blah, whatever. I didn't mean to rant. Like I said, that comic sums up my life. Haha.

Ah, that's a shame, but not unexpected. Even so, I appreciate it on the visual level for what it is. Kudos to Bungie. Now port the game to PC so I can play it, haha.

I know, right? We're so few and far between, and anytime I vocally express that opinion in a group of nerds I get a lot of "what the heck is wrong with you, pal" looks. At least people around here are accustomed to my complete ambivalence by now. Right?!

...At first I was like, "Huh, that sounds interesting" and then I looked it up and I don't know why I thought it'd be anything other than an FPS about killing women, given that it was recommended on the Hatred game page. Yes, I am an idiot. EDIT: Ahahaa, bonus, it's early access! You can help shape this game into what it needs to be. "I'd like to kill more women, please!" Ahahasdgasdgsdg barf.

The censoring mechanism is obviously murdering the developers before the game gets finished. I don't have a serious answer to your question, but this sort of thing existing disgusts me on a level I'm not able to properly explain and the world would be a better place if it didn't exist.
